Love it, I was already experimenting a lot with arpeggiated drums and percussion but this gives me a lot of ideas to expand my workflow on that direction

I used to do it manually, since the glitch music heyday, circa 2000-2002. At some point, I was recording everything in the house, and ended up with a great percussion sound library. Great tips.
Ha! Awesome, I was just thinking about some random sampling to add to Dj sets. This might be just what I am looking for. Also, I didn't even need to grab my earbuds for this video. You kept me lazy on the couch. Lol
amazing! Bonobo did this all by hand though, there used to be a video of him making kong in cubase, he zoomed in and placed all the different hats and cymbals etc individually. Changed my whole perspective on whats possible if you take the time.

Otomo is such a great track. The way the different metallic percussions blend together with the Bulgarian choir sample is truly creative. I use Cakewalk, which doesn't have the same tools as Live, but I've been able to use Sitala to organize sounds manually and I'm really starting to like this style of making percussion. Thank you for all your tutorials!
Stellar tip!!! Stimming is big on recorded shakers and percussion (often homemade) and I've been wanting to give it a go. This video has given me even more reason to setup the mic and bang a few pots and play the spoons! Can't wait to roll my sleeves up and dive in. Thank you Oscar. 😊
Man, I have to tell you that I really like your chanel. I started following it when I switched from fl to ableton to make techno. So coming here you could say I was a propper rookie. Your videos in which you explain everything in detail (I specifically remeber the way you explained parallel effects) gave me a huge conceptual understanding of how to use a DAW. Even your more hands on stuff was amazingly uncolored musically. Like providing your clients with studio monitors instead of bass boosted mixes. Your personality reminds me of what phare ll tries to be but can't become casue he got too much ego hahahaha.

@@somerabbit It's been so long I can't clearly remember haha - I suggest trying out the Stochas sequencer (free vst plugin). It can introduce random elements and patterns to your midi sequences.
I haven’t watched your videos for months but always loved them. Checked this out and instantly inspired me to make some more music. Thanks for everything you do man
Try this: Take the drum rack and load every cell with a random sample. Place an arpeggiator on that channel, then place an effect such as Rift or Portal after the drum rack. Then, take a few max for live LFO devices and switch them to Random. Map one of the LFOs to the arp rate, then go crazy with mapping various LFO shapes and rates to anything within those effects. Doesn’t have to be portal or rift, you can use anything you’d like. Big tip: when doing this open the drum racks chain window, hit cntrl + A, and set the Choke to “1”. Also, set the arp to “Random Other”. Make sure the piano roll has a legato note for each sample for this to work! Run for 20 minutes and render-in-place. Enjoy!

@@OscarUnderdog sadly he removed it, he used a lot of PSP plugins at the time and different layers of fx loops which he cut and reversed etc.
