It's not a jmod it's just a blue MoD it can never be a jeweler's that prefix has to be dropped it can't be rerolled only the affix like Deflecting or Whale can be obtained through a reroll.

I looked up all the cube recipes a couple years ago and it blew my mind. This game is actually complex enough that you can enjoy it so much while barely really playing it.
You cannot roll a Magic pally shield with the +45 All Res superior modifier. This is only available on white Paladin shields. You *can* roll a JASoD but those are trash compared to just using a 45 all res 4os base. This is because Holy Shield makes having 'of Deflecting' on a magic pally shield pointless.
Oof! Got the deflecting mod without jewlers! That sucks when that happens. Almost as bad as rolling a 1-10 to lifer lol good redemption there at the end!

Best to roll with lower itemlvl too. I spent a year rolling a baal monarch and finally got jmoc(jewellers monarch of colossus) 4 soc +60life. But it took so long and so many poems. Then I rolled a lower ilvl monarch I found while rushing. Less than a full inventory. Maybe 6 rolls. And I got the jmod.
Props but also yeah id rather just sell all my pgems for a decent rune and then use that rune to buy a good monarch. But I guess that cuts out the gambling fix bit.

One of the rarer and more valuable items in game for some builds. There are many magic items that go for insane prices far more than runewords or uniques. This item is essential for achieving max block with less points into Dex. Then the 4 open sockets allow for facets which some are 5% elemental dmg and -5 resistance. So on a light sorc you can have max block and 20% more light damage and - 20 light resistance to enemies. Very powerful because it's both defensive and best offensive shield for many builds. Can also add 15ias/40% dmg jewels or other things in there as well for melee.

It's BiS for some PvP builds. The deflecting suffix allows one to easily obtain max block. The jeweler's prefix allows you to customize it, mainly 5/5 facets or 15/40 for max damage. It's PvPer's wet dream. Monarch itself is pretty hard to come by, let alone the one with this combination of prefix and suffix. Also, how many people do you see that actually pick up magic items while grinding?? Everyone in D2, even beginners, know to pick up unique and set items. But most unique\set items aren't even that rare and quickly lose value. PvP is where the money is, if you know which magic/rare items to look for. JMOD isn't the only magic item that can fetch a really good price.
So why couldn't you just rush a fresh character to Lazruk for like 10 minutes and socket a standard unsocketed Deflecting roll? Also what good is this shield when you have runewords such as Spirit? I assume you would just put 4 diamonds in that to give you close to 100@R but even so, a spirit monarch would give you so much more.
JMoD and Spirit are for vastly different builds, it's not really about resistances. The rarity of the JMoD makes it more expensive than you'd assume from its properties.
For min-maxing build like LF/CS javazon where you'd put 4 perfect lightning rainbow facets for example. Same kind of item would be an Jeweler's Archon Plate of the whale : 4 sockets 100 to life.
Its a godly good item, it has the best block and you can put 4 jewels into it. For example, if you put 4 perfect light rainbow facets in it you gain +20% light skill damage which is a really huge boost to your damage while having the best block statistic you can achieve in the game. You can also combine other powerful jewels of course. Gz rerolling it

@@strangethingshappens Don't get your hopes up. 1 in 15000 odds for rolling in cube, and you'll basically need to socket 4 perfect light facets into it for it to be useful. This can sell for 25k-35k fg without the facets easily. It is one of the most sought after and rare items in all of D2.
PvP. The high block on a monarch means less points put into dex to achieve max block. The faster block rate is good for pvp. The "jeweler's mod" with 4 sockets is the highest you can get on a blue monarch like this. You can customize it with jewels. Either four 5/5 lighting facets for 40 enhanced damage 15ias or whatever you're going for. You also can't use the socket quest because blue items would only get you 1 or two sockets.

To reroll rare you will need 6 Pskulls or 6pskulls + a soj if want to increase ilvl or keep it 99 ilvl.

there are a few other versions of magic mona that have value but jmod is the most common one if ur gonna reroll get a ilvl 99 one from baal
Tons of magic items are gg level. +6 javs, +6 blizzard orbs, +6 tornado helms for druid.

Cows is the best place. Blue items cap at like 1000% magic find, so you want as much mf gear as you can possibly put on. Javazon and wipe those cows
ilvl 77+ and it takes an average of 40k pgems to roll one.

larzuk can only give 2 sockets, and for example javazons use these with 4 light facets in, and yes in the correct setup its better than spirit
