As a none resin person( not dipped my toe into this craft area) I am enjoying the videos, you pass on so much information to those who are just learning and those who are well versed in resin art. Keep track of your actual time spent when pricing, and if you can invest in a vacuum chamber and a thermometer it will give you an edge and save you a ton of frustration with air bubbles

@@michelleelle4622 most of what I have sold is actually custom pieces.....did a secret hidden bracelet with a seahorse in it for a lady in colorado....did a set of coasters....about to do a memorial piece for someone in Minnesota. But I've done booths at craft fairs at times

I have no doubt that your outgoing personality is a big part of your sales. It makes a huge difference. My hubby is outgoing, too, and when he tends to my craft sales more of it sells. I'm so introverted that people don't feel comfortable around me much, so I can't sell much at all, no matter what or how attractive my stuff is. I swear, it's like being jinxed!

'Best Sellers' would be a great series. I have been making bookmarks just recently and use temporary tattoos on them as well.

Very nice. You said you could put a thin layer of resin over the tattoo if you liked. Is there a special resin for thin coating you have to use or can you use the same resin you used for the pour? Some stay sticky if poured too thin.

Love these… thanks for the tips.. when I made boom marks b4 I left them to cure for 72hrs and when I de-moulded them they were flimsy… is that normal?.. I used craft resin… any help as starting back up with my resin business n hope to get sales this time haha.. also have a cricut maker so can use that too xxx

I love all of you videos, my question is how do you figure out what price to sell your work for? I have looked at other stores like Etsy, and I think their prices are too high, but I don't want to work for nothing. What, if any, suggestions do you have?

How do you make bookmarks that are not too thick? I have what look like the exact same molds, and the bookmarks feel super thick to me. I’ve been making ones out of alcohol ink on yupo paper, domed with resin because I’ve been afraid no one will buy the ones from my molds. Thanks for answering the question!
My goodness, I wish we had an answer for your question!!!
Don’t fill the mold. Only pour it part way. You can then decorate and take it out of the mold. Then dome it.
