Those spheres came out so nice, and I think your prices for them are very reasonable considering they are completely hand made, AND completely unique in every sense. I must admit I really loved that three piece set you put together, the gold and black is such a stunning contrast. Thanks for this helpful video Steve, no one else explains things in as much detail as you do. Nor does anyone else do as many interesting experiments as you do. You are the definitely the channel to watch when it comes to resin and a lot of business acumen. God bless you and all those you love, now and always.
That set definitely makes you look so pretty! They all turned out great! Amazing what can be created in almost no time at all. Thank you Steve 😊 for sharing your knowledge and experience!!!
These look really fun, I can imagine them selling well. I have a small jewellery business (just turned 10 years), but I've only recently ventured into resin jewellery. I actually had some new molds come in the mail today, and I can't wait to try them out. No spheres, though. At least, not yet. 😊💗
I love watching you Steve. You always make me feel I can do anything. Your an inspiration . Back to the craft now they are beautiful love all the different ideas of glitters and mixing of colours. . Giving the pricing is a great help as I always under price my self to the point I’m nearly giving it away. Thank you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow! These look amazing, and you look amazing modelling them 😍 definitely something else for me to try, as always thank you so much for all your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm 💗
Your spirit of trying new things has been passed on to me. I watched your video on drying flowers. I don't currently have the silica sand or any flowers. But I do have pretty leaves & a bunch of crystal cat litter. Which is made from a different form of silica than you used. I don't know yet if it will actually work & the pieces are kind of chunky. Buuut it is pretty dang cheap at $5 for 8 pounds & I could probably grind it down if I really wanted too. Provided of course that it actually works in the first place. I'm hoping it does because I got stuck with half a bag when I decided I hated it as cat litter. Anyway here's to trying out resin again. Got to say I love my non smelly nontoxic resin I bought this time.
Thank you so much for your videos. I make things but always feel so bashful when it comes to selling anything so I’m appreciating the courage you’re giving me with these tips!! Thank you!!
@@fairyspunfibers9098 there is a video but not detailed and the person doesn’t talk I need detailed instructions 🤪 I’m very new at this I will try tapping in resin acorns ty
Those came out really cute. Thanks for going into the price, appreciate it. I can see doing that in time for Christmas. Make some Christmas colored ear rings and what not, I can see those selling.
Those are fantastic! I love the earrings! I think black and gold go really well together. The others are very pretty and the one with the fruit is really cute!
Love the look, will definitely give these a try. I think you look absolutely beautiful in those. But can you tell me what length of cord you buy for the necklace? Thanks! Take care.
Your videos are super helpful, I'm just starting to dip my toes into selling resin art and it is a bit intimidating! You've given me a fresh boost of confidence!
I have been using a lot of your recommendations and I am really very happy with almost all of them!!! So many great ideas have helped me become a top 10 seller in the Artisians Emporium I am part of!
Beautiful. Helpful. And it looks like I'll be buying some more molds. I was doing some resin today, and I thought about so many of your helpful videos and have only one complaint (not really). You make everything look so quick and easy. By the time I get everything set up - silicone mats and molds out, inks/powders, glitter, etc. sticks, pipets, baby wipes - change into my crafting clothes and put on my gloves, mask and eye protectors (my husband calls it my hazmat suit) - I'm exhausted! And then there's the clean up. Thank you again for all your advice, especially about pricing.
These are a really cool idea and thank you for the great video and ideas. I ordered some, along with a few other things from your links (😁 I couldn’t resist). Hope that helps you out A little… Because I know you’ve helped me out a lot. Thank you my friend
I just got 2 3d printers Steve. If you need anything meantime give me a poke on FB( I mean until you get yours obviously). I believe I owe you one or two ( especially for that egg mold.. my car gear knob has never looked so good )
I have never worked with resin before but I’m doing my homework. I would like to make a clear sphere pendant with a sphere mould and a dried snowdrop flower inside. Do you have any tips for how to do this? Thank you so much from the USA. PS. I have already dried the flower in flower drying silica and it turned out nicely.
i love these! i've just started learning resin and your videos have all been really educational. thank you so so much for what you do for the community!
Thanks for another very informative video. I will have to seriously consider buying those moulds. Do you make your own backing cards for your jewellery too? If so, that would make a good video x
Thank you for all of your videos. I have learned a lot. Spheres here I come! If I wanted to do colored sand, what is the sand to resin ratio? Or do I let the resin get viscous before I mix in the sand. I tried a jar and even though it looks pretty cool, my sand settled.
I love this video! Thanks so much as I'm still trying to figure out my prices and I haven't even gone large scale yet. My question is how did you get the stars to not settle? Not sure if I missed that part.
Hi Steve, hope you’re well. I have some resin that I wanted to use on coasters. The hardener has turned a yellowish colour. Is it still ok to use? There’s no use by date on them. Love your videos. Very informative x
I would just cast a small piece to try it out. One of my hardeners looks yellowish in the bottle, but the pieces turn out nice and clear and not yellow at all. If it turns out the piece goes yellow, you could still use the resin for colored pieces.
Ahh see, I use UV resin to put the caps on my own. I mean I have to put the UV on them for a little longer due to the caps not being see through, but it still works beautifully for me.
Jasmine, all resins have a different cure rate, so read the instructions on the bottle or pamphlet that usually comes with each resin order. Usually, 24 hrs is standard, but others can be as short as around 12 hrs. For a FULL cure, it's best to wait a week to a month (yes, really) before sending them out.

You always make me laugh when modeling the earrings 🤣
I love your videos but never know what to say... *Grabs popcorn*

Really great advice ❤
The set of gold/black earrings+pendant look really elegant !!! 🙂
I'm so glad you showed what they look like on. They're not as overly large as they looked like on the table.
Loved the earrings on ya, Steve! They really brought out the nice color of your eyes! Very pretty!!!
Wow! They all came out gorgeous!!! And thank you for the suggested retail prices! That really helps me to price my items properly.💙

Steve, can you do a video on turning these spheres into acorns? I’m obsessed
@Laurie Wilson
There is a video on that already. Can't remember the woman's name, but they *are* beautiful! Maybe a YT search for "resin acorns"?
