I've always been impressed by your ability to articulate your thought process while you play, it's like a steady flow of fully formed sentences instead of the mumbling that is common with many other players
The collab with Jack video was awesome! I loved the stages. I’d love to see a video of you doing some of the “impossible” maps he’s done, too, or maybe some of the other random weird maps viewers made for him. I’ve always wondered what a really good GeoGuessr would notice in those maps.
The Norway round from TreezErik was very cheeky - it's part of the old runway system from Torp airport, most of it has been out of use the last decades, hence the overgrowth. Cool to see something local for me! Also, great vid as always!
The NZ round before that is also interesting-I believe it’s on the grade of the Otago Central Railway, which was converted to a cycle path after the railway’s closure in 1990.
You should build your own botanic garden and call it the "Zi8gzags Geoguessr Garden" and where you can see different countries plants in different sections
Other option for a 10 million subs special: fly to small town in Thailand, get accepted by their people, learn the language, train in thai for a year and a half, fight in a tournament, win the tournament, return to the USA and join the UFC, stay in shape and go undefeated in your weight class, retire and do an interview saying this comment was the reason you fought so hard.
@jasperpercabeth9140 I know, I realized that my comment was kind of stupid. I just copied it because it was the most liked Instagram comment ever and was also written regarding what somebody should do when reaching a certain follower milestone. Yeah, my comment is stupid because of course not everyone has heard of it…
I was screaming San Bernadino Mts. from my phone at 38 min! Huge conifers, dry grass and scattered fall deciduous trees. Also could have been Sierra Nevadas but I felt a tad less likely!
No way! That place in Denmark I was streetviewing on google maps like 1 week ago! There's something funky going on in that area of Denmark, that I can't remember. I believe it was something like the water is extremely shallow and muddy, so yeah, gotta watch out for if you get that island (mandø) in the future 🇩🇰
is there any chance of this video series allowing maps from viewers? I feel like it would be interested and also highlight how the way pros and casual players gauge difficulties differently
I was so proud of myself for guessing Mt Etna before you did and thought for sure I would beat you on that round but you still somehow got closer than me 😢
6:05 That Castle guess on the shores of the Caspian Sea impressed me the most. Just a bit more zooming on the map and you would have found the exact spot.
It's just the name of a company making cement, this cement could easily be from a city somewhere along Terek's banks, it's just something to help with getting the region@@derenkov
I got 217 points on the first challenge XD first time ever playing geo, 1) I went Borneo. I was thinking it was Indo because it I saw a short of someone visiting a village in S.E. Asia and idk it reminded me of that. 2) I went Cuba, because it looked like a Spanish fort and I was thinking it can't be Spain it must be a former colony. 3) Bolivia 4) Madagascar 5) Florida because everglades
Good video, I love watching you, I just commented on your last Video about if all countries were on geoguessr and I wrote something there, can you look at it and explain your thoughts there again?
19:09 While this wasn't Israel, trail markings in Israel are painted on rocks/trees. Usually three vertical lines (e.g White/Red/White to depict the "red trail" White/Green/White for the "green trail", etc...) and they bend with the track so imagine if you want to signal that trail goes left, you'd see a painting of a 90 degree left turn with these colors. Just a tip.
“There’s bamboo which usually means Asia, but it could be South America. Or Europe. Or the US. Or Australia or New Zealand.“ What a helpful clue. 😂
Thanks I didn't watch the video
I mean he took about about 75 countries with that

Agreed

That Etna call was amazing - My Nonna grew up in Randazzo, which was that village in the distance

9:22 That’s the chimney of ‘Esbjerg Power Station’. It’s about 250 meters tall and some 20 kilometers to the north of your location.
In the California round 38:19 there were definitely sequoia trees there. See how it splits and has these funny branches. That's a Cali redwood.
I feel increasingly worse and worse about my skill level while playing these maps 😅
They are meant to be extremely hard even for pros. Dont feel bad
Hahaha same experience
Great series really enjoying to see you struggle without most of the meta stuff :)
Love the chill ambient background music in these videos :)

4:23 there were sacks with Cyrillic on them spelling TEPEK, which is the name of the river in that region - another decent giveaway.

26:30 I would never guessed that location being in Italy (and I'm Italian)
Fun fact I just learnt: in that place they shot part of the movie "They call me Trinity" who is a Spaghetti Western
please make a playlist for this series D:
My best score this time was in game 3, where I got 9,491 points, thanks to 4,880 points for guessing New Zealand well.
I guessed south africa on the first location simply because the bench had the south african flag color scheme lol
i love this series please keep the episodes coming !!
I'm so proud I guessed Chile in the last round 😍😍
there will be a barr
For sure
😳
That’s another gum! Looks like it might be the silver dollar eucalyptus.

I'm happy and very surprised that I got 9,002 points in the last game.
"Here we have a car" is a fantastic comment.
These have been fun. As far as my scores, let's just keep it general and say... bad. My scores were bad.
I got like 2 points on one map

How do you do it?! The Russian roads in the first 2 rounds, I've literally been to both of them IN PERSON. Didn't cross my mind it could be there
Lets goo i beat zigzag on 1 round. (the mandø is easy as i have over 2k games on denmark so i know the coverage there)
what background music do you use for your videos?
The reverse psychology makes it harder
"interesting" is your favourite word ive just noticed 😅

Didn't even line up the sun and shadows to get the correct side of Etna. What an amateur, smh my head..🙄
