Dammit, I was watching this at work, and at around 6:56 you can hear a Slack notification go off. I was very confused when I couldn't figure out who pinged me until I remembered that LRR uses Slack, too. =P
So, Paul, I'm pretty sure the reason you get a lot of clips of the opening or title screen, is because of misclicks when trying to go into theater mode. I've done it multiple times myself, but I always go back and delete them, so as not to clog the page.
I'm definitely in favor of this, but it might be weird when the episode is cut together for publication separate from LRL. Maybe make the cool breaks a treat for people watching LRL or the replay.
What is happening to the lenght of Loading time? The past two episodes combined are just 25 minutes... The episodes used to be at least that long each...
I wondered the same thing. The last two seemed to cover less days/projects. This one was just the Live & Hustle from the 21st of April, and the previous had the March 10th Live & Hustle, and the Friday Nights they filmed March 17th. I wonder if the actual question might be why less is being filmed for it. There was another Live in March, and I'd love some behind the scenes of The Panalysts. Ben seemed to be the one filming this time, when it used to be Heather. I wonder if with Heather having taken on Uploads & Replays channel if Ben is now doing more of the Loading Time filming, and between that and all the other jobs he's doing the timing hasn't quite been sorted out yet.
As much as I enjoyed the hour+ long Loading Times, I'm sure they were time consuming to make, especially when they're not a part of the scheduled content/workflow
Alex Goldberg I understand your thinking and i also get that the lrrsmn's might all be busy making other content, but the point of loading time is to film while they are filming if that makes sense. Editing might take a lot of time and i get that too but the filming of loading time shouldn't take that much extra time or effort since its a behind the scenes thing, not like they have to set up elaborate scenes or write scripts or something... Don't get me wrong, i love lrr, they are fantastic people and i enjoy their content daily. I just wonder why loading time has gone from being 30 minutes to an hour long, to the now 11 minutes covering just one day out of a month...
April was a very busy month for us. We had PAX East, the Dominaria PPR and Tabletop Day all interrupting our regular schedule. And as a heads up, since most of May was Road Quest prep and filming, it will also probably be light on the LT content, as the people in 'stay home club' have been stretched very thin just keeping all the regular YT content going up and streams running.
Victoria S Hey friend! Dont you worry, I've got it in the tubes in progress. We had about 9 hours of footage to sift through and condense so it's a longer process. It will for sure be out before this years DB! :)
Ben is working on the Desert Bus LT, but his first priority has been Road Quest and getting new episodes of Sidewalk Slam edited and online as quickly as possible. - Kathleen
Depends on what point in time you're talking about. Phil is director for a bit after Fury goes into hiding, Mace is director for a bit after that, its a whole thing.
Can this really be called a "Loading Time Digest" if the video only covers literally a day? Honestly I'm disappointed and I really hope these don't continue like this.
SplitDemonIdentity Hey friend! Due to all the stuff that's currently going on and how we've rearranged how we do things like LIVE, we literally only had footage of a day :( we've sat down and talked about how we'll be doing LT going forward and we're hoping to get back to that longer form that you know and love!
Thanks so much for the clarification! I still fully enjoyed the video but I think I just got a little nervous looking at how things seemed to be trending and spoke out. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
6:08 speaking as one of the mods: NAME YOUR CLIPS!
Ian just says "clip it thats the ticket" he doesn't say we have to name it too.
"Clip it. That's the ticket! Name It to Fame it!"
Always nice to see Ian running with such... focus and determination. He is on a MISSION!
I loved those title card sequences for that Hustle episode. Felt so nostalgic for me and and I can't quite figure out why.
I just assumed that Commodore Hustle was a callback to your old "Rapidfire" series from eons ago in the pre-Twitch era of LRR.
1:04 Speaking as a California medical cannabis patient, your assumption is very correct.
I'm sure it's been answered in the past, but where do you get the sweet music for these videos?

Misclicks when trying to open settings too. That's another one.
Can anyone link that "shopkeeper" bit that they were talking about?
So... Did Ben mis-spell it Commode or Hustle?
You should keep doing the artistic intros to break up Commodore Hustle from the rest of LRL.

Lastof I think you might be on to something as far as the cause of the shorter videos goes.

100% no rush or anything, I know you all are crazy busy, but are we still getting a DB11 loading time?? I mean, it's almost June...
Victoria S Awwww don't give them an panic attack. XD

Aw yay! Thanks Ben! I know it was a lot, so I was really just hoping I hadn't missed it somehow. Thanks for all your hard work!! :)

Isn't Phil Coulson the Director of SHEILD?
Depends on what point in time you're talking about. Phil is director for a bit after Fury goes into hiding, Mace is director for a bit after that, its a whole thing.
And now it's Mack since Coulson's retired.
