His untimely demise was a big loss to the music fraternity.
I am singing one of his songs which I like immensly, and also sing one song that I have composed for him. "Jaanam I Love You."

Do listen to the songs from a movie name Showbiz. Which is also composed by Jatin Pandit and sung by KK. I think even Jatin Lalit has forgotten that else he would've mentioned it in the video.

KK was 2nd & 3rd generation best singer after 1st generation singers MD.Rafi, Manna Dey, Nukesh, Kishore Kumar (also a KK), Mahendra Kapoor. His voice quality was quite similar to Kishore Kumar young voice (till 70s song) but his voice remained at last concert as young as hus 20s. Music Directors should have used more often his later years from 2015 onward & would have had more great songs like is early years till 2015.
I remember one interview where he said Rajesh Roshan asked him to sing Kite film songs and told him he made tuned of those songs keeping Kishore Kumar in his mind but he is more & I want you sing these songs with similar feel or closer. After recording he hugged him and said you brought the same feelings which Kishore Kumar would have brought..
Your songs with him in the movie Showbiz - mere falak ka tu hi sitara, Duniya ne dil toda, tu mujhse jab se mila hai. Are underrated gems.

Sir you didn't talk about KK range ,kk versatility,KK crystal clear voice even you didn't say KK was legend,you worked with many best singers like Kumar Sanu , udit narayan and many more but if you will see KK was more versatile than them, KK was the one who could sing party songs,rock songs , country music , POP , slow songs , sad songs , romantic songs ,he was perfect for every kind of songs KK could sing any song except highly classical but KK was best for playback singing especially,he had a heroic voice ,he didn't need any technology to enhance his voice ,his voice was very powerful like amplifier but sir you could talk about technical things here but you didn't mention because maybe you didn't listen KK so much but believe me he was far better than your era singers ,KK was ultra legend

I used to think that kk was very selective as far as singing is concerned, but now I can say that even he would sing an average song it used to become remarkable. He was the most qualitative singer.

Instead even in todays time when singers of his time are not singing a lot of bollywood songs..he was the one who was still singing and even the young music directors are huge fan of his work and they kept on giving him key songs in theri music.
