- Classic song from 1958 not valible in stereo, Ive used a new backing track and mixed with the audio to create a stereo recording, also added Piano / vocal version showing how the sound was built up at the end of the stereo mix.

This remix, in stereo, is nothing short of astounding.The original sounds quite lifeless in comparison,yet the integrity of the song remains absolutely intact.You deserve an award from... someone for your work. You have also dropped/ added frames here and there to keep the sync correct.In short, amazing, thrilling results. This recording now sounds as if it were recorded yesterday.

The background vocals are wonderful but that woman's soaring high voice is so beautiful.
I have this on a 78 that's been played to death although it still sounds good for a 78 so to hear this without the familiar hiss and crackle is wonderful. have you also done three o'clock thrill ?
I too had this on a 78rpm as a child and as you will know the 78's only lasted max 2 minutes. Three O' Clock Thrill was on the other side. I only had 5 records, Connie Francis Stupid Cupid, Last Train to San Fernando, Emile Ford and the Checkmates and The Everly Brothers. I must have driven my parents mad playing them over and over. I have an eclectic taste in music now but these favourites are still played via cd. Continue to enjoy your music Mr. Lawrence.

Great work, hard to believe it is a re mix, sounds full and the instruments and voices so distinct. I met the brothers in 1976 as I worked with the wife of one of them In Cycle Hut in Suitland, Maryland. They were warm and kind people, best of memories.

I think it is too far from the original, the added piano on the LH channel is too prominent and the vocals are still mono, I know much work went into it but it is not too my liking. There are 2 put out by monotostereoking that sound fine IMHO, one says sort of stereo 2012, the other is Hotpot Stereo Monotostereoking 2014
