Great tutorial, love the chosen colors.
Thanks! I'm glad you found it useful.
This was so helpful, I could not figure out how to get the diagonal to tile. Thank you for explaining it so clearly!
You're very welcome! I'm glad it helped you out.
Perfect and easy to made Affinity Designer V2
Thank you. I’m so new to affinity designer but I did it. I couldn’t find a way to deselect the horizontal group from export though but at least I got my plaid yay
Huge thanks, exactly what I was looking for! :)
Great tutorial, even if I work in Photoshop, the principle is the same. Many thanks!
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful to you.
Great tutorial. I followed along with you each step. I had all of the diagonal lines and the pattern selected, then chose the "divide" option, then deleted all of the diagonal lines and nothing happened, there was no lines in the pattern. I even repeated the step multiple times and it still did not work.
Hi there! When this happened to me it was because I had not ungrouped all of the elements. The coloured rectangles and all the diagonals need to be ungrouped for the divide to work. I hope this helps.
After saving diagonal stripes as SVG, I am not sure how I am going to use it again in another new design page? Because I cannot ungroup it!
Hi! Thanks for watching :) Did you try ungrouping before you exported the SVG file? You could also try downloading the file from the link in the video description.
