If you're using this as a guide to installing this kit, what Bill neglected to mention is to install the provided circular rubber grommets for the pcv and evap hoses into the elbow of the intake, otherwise the holes will be too big.
This is going to be my next purchase. I've been going back and forth between closed box or open and which one I should use. When I researched this one I was sold. Great design, at least by appearance. No stupid foam insert to deal with and looks like it should seal much better. Plus later on when I do install a tune I can just remove the insert and I don't need to buy another CAI.
I recently bought a 2017 gt. Will this kit work with aftermarket hoods? I'd like use the Cervini ram air hood, and was wondering if you've had any experience with fitment in this situation.
Wonder how well that seas to the hood for iat temps when you’re in town or idling for a period of time I have the ford racing power pack 2 with the gt350 intake and the temps rise quickly at stops when it’s hot outside, great going down road but for a daily I still think a closed box is the best case and there isn’t much gain from a cold air kit, mostly sound and throttle response which is why I got the kit I got which came with the tune and a larger throttle body also I’m considering a different tune and intake because it’s my daily, always liked Steeda and they do make a closed lid box but it’s over priced imho
I installed the 2018 intake manifold to my 2015 gt. I also have the Steeda intake....I used the stock throttle body and now the plastic tube (filter to throttle body) doesn't fit. Ive been told by steeda to cut maybe 3/4" off the tube. What do you suggest?
Buy the damn tube lmao/you should’ve bought the cold air as the assembly (new or used), tube+filter and any other fittings/clamps it might’ve needed. This is a great example of why that dude from Lund is always roasting people. Hoping you figured it out by now tho since it’s been over a month
@@thehorseman1806 you said “the plastic tube (filter to throttle body) doesn’t fit”. So wouldn’t that be the big, main air/intake tube? Unless if you’re saying about some smaller random tube, then idk
Hey i have a C&L instake for a 2017 gt and din't come with the extra plug where can I get one to close off that hole or is it ok not to plug that hole ?
The links to the part on our page with the pricing is in the info for every video, I don't state pricing because they can change. We may do one in the future but no plans right now.

Wish you guys could do chassis dyno on these mustang

The gains are to the crank...yes?
Are these filters intended to be cleaned like a K&N? Or do you need to buy replacements.

@@Buttfluff what tube?

@@Buttfluff Yes, the main tube...r you suggesting they sell one that fits aside from what came with the CAI kit?
Bill, what is your opinion between the Steeda and GT 350 CAI? Thank you
Need to do an exhaust rev or something next time see how much the difference is
Will any of your standard tuners, like Bama, provide the required tune that youll need if you don't want to use the restricting tube?

is this intake better compared to the airaid?
How easy is it to get the insert out if you change from no tune to tune?
Worst case a small mallet but it comes out pretty easy.
@@Zerogivengarage so if I take out the restrictor I’ll need a tune?
Looks and sounds great!
Steeda or JLT?
any effect when you cut out resonator?
no
pcv valve on the bottom of the intake just didn't look right.
2 things 1 you should state the prices of these items your installing. 2. You should do a procharger install video.

Of course he's gonna say it makes power, they sell the kits...Still make great vids though.
CLMDADE steeda posted vids of them dyno testing it to prove their claims
They'll never respond.
