Cute trellis!! Hoyas are easy going, deal with my neglect, have cute flowers, and have a variety of different leaf shapes, colors, and sizes!!!

@@KelliesHoyathanks! That is the one thing I really like about Hoya is we can dress them up. Hahahahaha. Thanks for stopping by! 🥰

Hey Ms. Lady! There is so much versatility in the Hoya family and some have gorgeous leaves, which is why I collect them; the flowers are a bonus. The best tip I have for you is not to point the growing tip downward, it will stop growing and the tip will die off. When trellising go counter clockwise. Easy plants to care for and grow! As far as trailing, that’s totally up to you. I do both.

LOL! 😆 Hi back Ms Lady! Holy Smokes! I had no clue about the tip of a Hoya! See I knew my smart viewers would know the answer. I hope I havent hurt it. I don't think its 'counterclockwise'. 🤔

I only have about 6 hoyas. I chose ones that I thought were beautiful and that have an interesting characteristic, like the mathilde has those little round dark green leaves, the obovata has those big round leaves, the callistophylla has those dark veins in the leaves, the exotica has the green and yellow leaves, and the compacta is just weird and beautiful. I also have the khroniana super silver; i dont know how much i love it. it is a very slow grower. Each leaf node will make a new plant

I like the obovata that is one I would be 'interested' in getting if I buy anymore Hoya's. I saw varigated compacta today while at the garden center. When I see those I think of all the channels I watch with mealies. 🙈 No thank you. ☺️

I would use the first trellis, it looks like its going to b a heavy plant

That is a very good point!! I still have it on the other one for now, but I may change it out. Thank you for supporting my channel and watching!

Oh. I want one of those so badly. I cut a stem off my mathilde and put the wet sticks in moss and now i have two little plants. So I cut a stem off my obovata now to see what happens. They always grow back into more stems when you cut them.

I love this Hoya I can only say that about this one. The others I had / have aren't meaning that much to me. I cut my pink silver Hoya to test and put her right back into the pot she came from and they are actually growing! Gotta love resilient plants like that because most of ours we care for are not easy. Thank you Juanell for always supporting my channel! I am going over to your page to see if you have more videos I see your subscriber count went up!
