Thoose people deserved their right ammount of kills daily and because breadbugs are faster than many other creatures and even if they're slower than pikmin their damage is so low that a pikmin can only tickle a breadbug so a little spawn camping is just fair and doesn't hurt anyone
My favorite thing to do in that game is become a Bulborb, gain the trust of Pikmin and let them on you, watch as all the other bulborbs run toward you then start running yourself, Bulborb Chase

If they add hunger mechanics for this game, Breadbugs should be able to just dig up food for themselves. That way they at least have some functionality other than being a meme.
