Nice to see him playing decent darts again. He's had plenty of wins on the Pro Tour but never really plays well on TV or goes very far. He did well here though so all credit to him.
The underdogs definitely gave the big guns a real run for their money tonight. I mean Ian White definitely pushed Littler to the limit, good to see the diamond playing well again!!!
Props to White for giving Littler a run for his money, who knows what would’ve happened had he just hit the doubles when it mattered! Littler looked a bit sloppy to start with but those last 2 sets he was firing on all cylinders again! He’ll need to keep that big scoring up if he’s to stay the favourite as a collision course with Humphries in the SF is ominously incoming.
"Big names under pressure." Yeah well... this is where things get fun. Ian White pushed Luke Littler harder than I ever thought he would. Nice to see him play well again. Hopefully 2025 he can start fighting for wins on the Pro Tour again. They were both slow to get going but when they did, it made for a really good match. Luke found those crucial checkouts when it mattered. But as he says: 35% on the doubles is not ideal at all. He'll need to be better when he faces Ryan Joyce; that will be a serious test because Joyce is playing so well right now. Should be a great match though!
The green machine Michael van Gerwen marches on to the last 16 at the Alexandra Palace and takes Brendan Dolan packing well played 🎯🎯🎯🎯👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍🤍💙💙💙💙
Ian White was awesome! The wonder kid won but was no cake walk, in my opinion , he needs to focus less on the theratics and play his game. If he does not step it up and plays Luke Humphries , he is a goner.
Props to White for bringing his A game. Littler was unreal in the final two sets.

That was never ever his A Game.
Littler brings D game.......
97 is definitely not Littler’s A game to be fair… but it’s definitely enough to get pass a valiant effort from Ian White.
@ never said it was Littler’s A game. Never mentioned it in my original comment.
12 180s from littler😮

Yeah, such a valiant effort from Ian White, gave Littler a real run for his money.
Wtf? Why cut mvgs game?
they messed up the edit, the last leg of the match was the clip before
4-1 seems so harsh on Ian White there. If he was against anyone else bar Humphries he wins easily with a performance like that.
For the skippers: The 2nd last leg of mvg was actually the last one
Well done Hollywood Chris Dobey to knock out Josh rock at the Alexandra Palace 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
who won from mvg vs dobey?
MVG
Listen, check the schedule because they didn't play each other... they're not even in the same half of the draw for cripes sake.
@@xtheamazingaxWell said, how thick or lazy are people.
MVG
Scoreline flattered Luke a bit, but he got the job done.
MVG needs to start stepping up if he wants that title some great sets then some real bad ones inconsistentcy is hurting MVG this season
can skip first 15 minutes as they put a shite 5 second clip of the winner on shorts for no reason.. why spoil
😂😂😂😂
what if white didn’t miss the doubles😢
What if Luke hit more doubles 😉
Littler won thank god
White almost killed my boy 😭😭

Just screw showing MVG win lol
Luke Humphries to win second world title 😊
We've had one 102+ average in the whole tournament. Poor so far.
I'm not the only one who has noticed that... Scoring is down
Pressure
Probably because a huge majority of the seeds have lost early in this tournament…
What pressure?!

@Errol592 Humphries hasn’t looked 100% or anywhere near it either
Well done Luke to take Diamond Ian White out of the tournament and the crowd are willing you on ❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍❤❤❤👏👏👏🎯🎯🎯
