This is a sign for me to move to Ghana in the future and start something like that in Kumasi. It’s my vision and my little contribution to Ghana. I have to start connecting with other PharmDs in Ghana. Pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare workers everywhere, and very patient centered. I hope to connect with this lady some day and learn a thing or two from her.

The reason she left was to gain familiarity with western culture, obtain a good education, get rich, and move back to her homeland where she perhaps brings more value with her experiences from abroad. Love it 🥰

This was very inspiring. I came to the US from Ghana at the age of 6, but Ghana has never left my heart. I’ve returned many times and it always feels good to be back home.
Now, as a medical student, my vision is to return to Ghana as a board certified physician, and make an impact on my country and my people.
This video has shown me that my dreams are possible as long as I set my mind to it.

Thank you Dr Asante and Dentaa for your good work and for most importantly making an impact 🙏🏾

      @Patrick-uu4xx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

"Diaspora must come home, and not rely on the government "...What ??
Only the black community think like this. That is why a lot of people from the black diaspora won't return. To their own countries. I am from the diaspora.
And a lot of diaspora people I know feel the same
U want people to leave their careers, houses etc to go live in a country where most of the people including the governments mindset are years behind.
      Infrastructure is terrible.
Governments are a joke. they do nothing for their own people let alone for the diaspora.
Look at the local market places and the market "stands" for example in 1930 and now
You will see that not much has changed.
That says a lot about development.
As long as black governments sell their people out. There will be no change.
We need more leaders like R.I.P President Magufuli
He looked like he was building and fighting for his people.

The kids transitioned from homeschooling to traditional Cambridge system school here in Ghana. 7 months in, it still feels like I'm dreaming. Yes, Ghana presents its challenges, but we appreciate it for what it is and fostering change where we can. I've trained nearly 60 customer service representatives this year and counting. Now I know why he asked me to watch this video! So inspiring and motivating! In some few months we will follow her footsteps from the UK. Even if 10% of Africans in the diaspora would move back to the continent and empower through their skills and knowledge Africa would go a long way. We must reverse the trend of brain drain. Thank you Deenta! I’m thankful for such an informative, intelligent, and inspiring discussion. Y’all make being smart and beautiful look easy.
I love the cafe and THAT HOUSE😍🔥. Design and development are my passion. This story has inspired me to pray and seek guidance right now to figure out what I can do to earn a good living to build my dream house there. When I visit, I’m certainly gonna look up Dr Asante and Greenleaf Cafe... she’s one of my new Sheros👸🏽🧕🏽

Before you move to anywhere make sure you're ready put your finances in order. as you can see in the video she have big beautiful home I know it was not easy for her she have to work, work and work to have that beautiful home. when you finally decide to move make sure you learn the language that most of the citizens are using to communicate that will help you going to the market to buy things.i know you're going to enjoy the experience you will never worried about someone calling police for you for going to your own house or getting in your own vehicle.

There are way more positives than negatives to move to a country in Afrika than to remain living in the United States of America. I am looking at either relocating to a country in East of West Afrika before the end of this decade. #Umoja_wa_Afrika2030

So true. I remember when I was living in Japan, I would read a literature on the history of Japan, a lot went to the US 🇺🇸 and Germany 🇩🇪 to study and acquire skills as much as they could. They return home in the 60s and was followed by economic bubble and improved governance.
So if we could do that in numbers as African and give these destructive politicians a one-way ticket to the moon.
