- Hey all 😊 got out in the garden and quickly filmed this. Flower breeding really excites me, and the more of us that take an interest in it, the more beautiful varieties we will have to grow.
Just keep in mind that this is a intensive way of breeding, you can of course just keep the seeds from your best flowers each season and you’ll improve your flowers the following season, it’ll just take longer to achieve your desired results.
One thing also worth mentioning is that it’s important to have a intention with your flower breeding, “I want to create this colour” “I want to breed flowers with longer stems” “I want to breed flowers that are more suited to my climate”. Having a goal helps immensely 😊
So get out there and be the Bee 🐝 😊 nothing beats the anticipation of seeing that next generation of flowers open!
