Carl Reiner is now up with his wife Estelle for the first time in nearly 12 years. She'll have what he's having: love and togetherness up there where they belong. We will miss you dearly, Mr. Reiner. Thank you for all the laughs and all the smiles that you have brought to the world and on television.

This interview is wonderful. The interviewer is one of those rare people who doesn’t patronize her interviewee. She just talks naturally with Carl, which I so appreciate. My goodness, I feel as if I have lost a member of my own family-although honestly, I like Carl more than a lot of my family members!

Watch the Comedians in Cars with Coffee episode with Carl, it is classic to see that he and Mel Brooks get together in Carl's house every night have dinner and watch Jeopardy.

I grew up in the 60s and Carl's influence was all over the TV. He was one very funny man and without a doubt the best comedy writer. He didn't have to write vulgar stuff to make us laugh. I bid his family peace.

As I sit and remember why we love our television classics, I cannot help but reflect on a sheer genius like Car Reiner. He has set several examples of WHAT television comedies should be like Lucille Ball had accomplished with physical comedy. He left us a legacy that will endure for many more generations to come. RIP Mr. Reiner. God bless.
