It’s October 2023 as I’m watching this. I’m going on my first cruise in summer 2024 and I’m already preparing. I’ve started a Google sheet of what I’ll pack and the “stuff” I’ll need, since I won’t have easy access to things like medicines while on board.
I never tire of watching packing videos and I only fly maybe twice a year. I have managed to do a carry on twice and had clothes left over for week trips. I did purchase a new backpack I am excited to use. We have an RV so I can over pack but I am trying not too because it is more to load and unload. I have used packing cubes including the compressed ones which work well. I am going to try the brick method; it is how my dresser is arranged and I am amazed how much I can get in there.
I’ve always had clothes left over in a carry on too! I’m always amazed at that. That’s so fun you have an RV!!! And thats really smart knowing that the more you bring in the more you have to unpack. Do you go on lots of RV road trips? Packing cubes when traveling with a suitcase are definitelyyy the way to go. Plus its just soo organized which makes me less stressed. Thank you for watching!!
it has to be a real thing because I have packing anxiety. I always fear if I'm going to forget something etc. So I started making a list and categorized. So funny that you do the same thing. I still get anxious but it helps
I agree with the overpacking of undergarments because same! Even if it's just for an overnight trip I would usually pack 7 to 8 for the "just in case" moments
I am guily of overpacking and procrastinating 😅 and I have packing anxiety too; but still I could never set an alarm😮! If i am ever against the clock, for any task, i just cant cope. So thatnks for the great tips, but i will have to skip that one😂
I am watching this video while packing for a trip myself! However, my approach is more of a "whatever I forget I can always find a solution there"- system :)

I'm super related with everything that u have said in this video like having an axiety before traveling, someone over packs, also with strapless bra falls down, using grocery bags for shoes & ziploc for toiletries, I also tend to get sick when traveling. More vacation & travel vlogs ✈️

@@rebekahjoy We usually do 2 bigger trips a year and also have a seasonal camping spot about 35 minutes from home we go to on weekends April-October.

Some tips may work for some and not for others, thats totally okay!! For me, timers work superr well. I’m so glad the other tips were helpful!! :))
