@@PawelSorinsky it's death metal as an umbrella term... You sound like those guys "actually this is vegetarian-progressive-avant-gard-deathgrind" Pd: It's Melo-Death, as in Melodic death metal, If you like to be specific...
@El Comedy Rogue What you're saying about rock and any metal sub-genre is exactly what being under an umbrella means... you learn something new everyday kiddo... reading a bit won't kill you
Going to Amon Amarth concerts is very addictive. Their performance is just that good, not only the show but the sound. Just listen to Bloodshed over Bochum (2008). These liverecordings sound amazing and a second edition with the next four albums in line would be awesome.
I don't think I've ever even heard an Amon Amarth song if I'm being totally honest... but I definitely think id go to one of thier shows. Looks like it would be incredible.
If you come to Limasawa, Philippines, my great great grand father will let you use as a stage prop the galleon that carried Ferdinand Magellan and his men to our island. It's been buried under our house since 1521.
Saw them for the first time rhis year with ghost and it was awsome. They had these two guys swords sheilds an aces going at on stage during the song ravens fly. They were chipping the sheilds and everything it was hype
Metal attracted when I was a kid because of the showmanship. I love musical theater since it was the predecessor to music videos (my former career before self hiatus). Metal and Jpop are some of the few genres that incorporate theatrics and props.
Love the old school Entombed t-shirt 👍👍👍 Also digging Johan wearing a Grimfrost Beserker t-shirt, nice plug for Grimfrost and also the new album (can't wait!!)😀🍻👍 \m/
October 20 in San Antonio with Arch Enemy! 2 of my favorite bands coming to town...im ready to pillage some shit. Please collab on a song or two. Seeing that would be the most epic cohesion of badassery one could imagine
That's kinda fynny because i have also a 20cm beard which started whith that I was talking to My 7year old son about if I should grow a beard or go shaving. He said: you should have a great big beard, like Johan Hägg!
Someone has probably mentioned this before, but why does the band perpetuate the myth that Vikings wore horned helmets? Yeah, it's cool as fuck, but it just never happened.
Death metal guys are always the nicest
This is Mellow Death.

History: Viking helmets were not adorned with horns.
Amon Amarth: hold my mead
Amon Amarth is the absolute best of all metal bands!!! I'm lucky to live through this metal era.
I was fortunate enough to see these guys play and was worth every bit.
I loved you guys in Portland in 2016. The Viking ship was still in action

I saw them at Carolina Rebellion 2018 and it was EPIC!!!

What a glorious thumbnail 👌
Oct 12 in NYC, can’t wait!!!
What's with all the bleeping? I thought Loudwire didn't do that. I mean, we all know what they're saying anyway, so what's the point?
So they don't get demonetised, I assume

I'd like to buy one of those Berserker T-shirts if they are for sale
Bluthednir
Good one!.... :)
🔥🤘🏼⚔🤘🏼🔥
I have that exact shirt Johan has on. It's from Grimfrost.
🤘
Olavi looks so uncomfortable
Why made you think like that? You thought he's kinda nervous or what?
He looks like an NFL linebacker...dressed in shoulder pads! Big Norse boy...!
I used to think so too but now I've gone 180 on this one. I think he's looks pretty comfy and relaxed.
Wait so you post about Amon Amarth and Eminem in the same day?! Johann can kill Eminem with just a glance
Graham looks tiny compared to these two, lol!
More like 2 Vikings and one Christian villager
Hi
Coolio
Neither of them bothered to correct the interviewer when he said "death metal band".
Because they actually are death metal. What are you on about?
