We keep our extra ear buds where we use them. Our daughter puts them in her dresser’s office supply drawer, I put mine in my nightstand, and my husband puts them where he charges his phone. We have a very organized home and everything we own has a place so we know where to put it.
Suggestion: Hang the weighted blanket on a heady-duty hanger to free up space in the bottom of the wardrobe. Move the rest of the Cricut supplies into a bin in the bottom of the wardrobe so they're all together. Use the empty drawer in the organizer where the Cricut supplies were to store the Optivia items.
I often keep my headphone sponges in my jewelry box... I know exactly where they are, along with the extra buttons that come on tops... This was a great video... Have joined your channel.. Have a marvelous day..🌞
You are right, it is the electronic age. I scan in, or take a picture of my budgets,invoices,etc and save them in file. For me, much easier to find because I give them descriptive names.
For sticker organization I would grab a clear greeting card keeper box from Michael's (when it's on sale) It has a handful of dividers that can be labeled for each type/category of sticker. Then maybe u won't have to look thru so many stickers to find what you want to use.
Your office looks great! A couple of ideas - you could cut a hole in the back of the wardrobe for a cord to go thru and put a power bar inside it, then you can keep all of the cleaning items inside it while they are charging, but still out of sight. I did that with a dresser to make a charging station drawer. For your treadmill, could it move to the corner of the room where the chair/bed is and move the chair/bed closer to the door where the piano was? Thanks for a great video!
Yes, I am thinking about drilling the hole! I have done that with my buffet in the dining room and I felt like I always change my mind so I'll have holes in everything but that's not the worst thing, right?! 😎 I love your idea for the treadmill and chair. I have a desk in our guest room. Our "guests" can be open ended. A granddaughter is with us now, and due to economy, she will probably be hr for many months. My desk contents become portable, as I put everything into a picnic basket and carry it to the kitchen table when I need to work . I do miss my permanent desk, but this works, and it clears space for her when she starts college in January. We did the same for her brother and our son. Part of life! My Bible study items, kept in a bag I carry them in. Journal, kept in my kitchen near the table where I use it. Clutter problem: I have to keep up with charity mail, which I keep on top of picnic basket lid.

Hi Karen, I have a little zippered pouch that I got from Dollar Tree. I keep my cords in it when traveling and also have some extras stored in it. That's where I'd put extra ear buds!
If you are not using all those coat hooks on the wall, what about putting up shelfs for your books. I think that with continued decluttering we also have to reevaluate our organization. Great video Karen and keep up the great work!
Talk about a guilty declutter…those hooks!! I put them up a couple of years ago but melting snow gear did me in! So I feel guilty to take them down after causing all of those holes!! Thanks for the ideas and encouragement!! 🌻🌻🌻

In summer it´s too hot and in winter it´s cold. 🙄 But I have all my papers and books stored there and crafts and wrapping papers and so on - so that is great. Some thoughts re guilt clutter: 1. The items are already purchased, the money has been exchanged. Don’t beat yourself up for something done before your decluttering journey. 2. I donated lots of scrapbooking materials to our Children’s Hospital as well as our neighborhood elementary school and 1st yr teachers. 3. Offer stickers for free on fcbk or donate to your homeschool group.
My guilt clutter is everything, but especially craft items. Realistically I know I can’t do everything and my tastes, wants & needs change with age. I am trying to find the happy medium. I keep xtra earbuds, cables, etc in a hard plastic pencil case stored with my electronics where I know to look for them. I try to put like items with like. Could you donate those stickers to your local homeschool groups by putting them all in a ziploc maybe? Just a thought, I did that with some I had and the kids & moms loved them. Great job! I cleaned out my sticker collection a few months ago. I passed along everything to a friend who enjoys planners and told her the rest could be set out for children to use at the arts center she works at/donated/or tossed but that I didn't want them back. It gave me more room in the box that I keep them in and gave me "permission" to go on Etsy and buy the exact type of stickers I do use each week in my planner.
I need to restock some mrs. Meyers. I wonder what the pear tree smells like? Meal planned for the next five days. Eating out of the freezer and pantry. Running the usual wash. Cold and damp today. Had a cup of Swiss Miss and going to take a cozy nap. Good decluttering! I just had to trash my non working solar lights and a broken folding chair. Now pleased to say that there is not a single bit of outside trash lurking on the lawn. Planning my very simple holiday season.
Who says you can’t donate partially used sticker pages? Put them all in a zip lock bag. I know lots of kids that would love them. Your local Facebook buy nothing group, or we locally have a joint that collects craft stuff and resells.
Decluttering stickers are rough. For any of the tiny stars, cute animals, etc. Left overs, I would cut the paper down so it isn't a giant empty page but instead is just around the one or a few stickers. Then once I have a pile, places with little kids (churches, schools, etc.) May like them. We put tiny sticker clusters in Easter eggs but they also are a great non food option for Halloween. On the other hand, putting the pile on your home school table and say take what you want and the rest throw away may help ease the guilt if your daughters for instance like the tiny star stickers. That way I feel like the good has truly been salvaged and can trow away the rest without a thought.
My guest room/office is where the clutter and future projects go to hang out until I start to get ready for holiday visitors and then I clear it out and tidy it up so that is what I am doing little by little these days.
You did a great job! Btw I love the music that you use when FastForwarding. I share my office with my husband and also serves as family crafting area. My desk gets full of toys and crafts 😅
Sell your sticker book collection on Poshmark, even if you have ripped out pages. Those books are expensive and if you group a bunch together, someone will buy it. You won't get back what you paid but at least it is something. I did that with rings, covers, extra pages, stickers and washi in a packet and sold it all as a packet. That helps with the guilt.

Hellooo Karen, I’ve only recently started to keep a journal, I bought a Happy Planner sticker book but I fear I won’t use a fair number of them. I’ve tried a couple of times with the print and cut on my cricut but the sticker paper just won’t go through my printer, it’s much too thick, so that’s another waste of money, definitely feel guilty decluttering that. I also have a lot of yarn, I don’t get very much time these days to sit and knit or crochet yet for some reason I keep putting off having a clear out of it all. We’re our own worst enemy at times, at least I am.. I’m doing Halloween decor this year again but I’ve said when we take it down I’m going to be ruthless, anything looking a little tatty or even if I just don’t want it it’ll go. Your home office looked wonderful at the end, very tidy and organise. Give yourself a big pat on the back for that. Wonderful to see you as always and as always I send you much love and light. 🥰🥰xx
Pam, I had the same problem with my printer, then I bought different sticker paper and then my Cricut didn’t recognize the border of the sticker page which I guess is a common problem! 😳 So sad!! Things that may make me feel a little guilty I offer to friends and neighbors. Feels better to gift to someone that wants or needs an item. I bought a new pair of garden loppers on a referral from a you tube gardener. I hated them. Luckily, someone on my local buy nothing group was looking for some. She was thrilled with them. And I managed to gift her some other garden items I wasn’t using but still had lots of life left in them.

I have been trying to reorganize, dejunk, (which I have done twice already this year), but the system just isn’t working 😣 My guilt clutter is leftover card stock paper OR I buy too much lol

@@ThisMainerMom Great! I too hate seeing chords around but we seem doomed by co existence with them. What I do suggest is to pull the chords through the back of the cupboard and have them plug into an extension that then goes to the socket. Sometimes I think we start to many things at once. I can become overwhelming. I'm gradually learning to not do that. It creates to much psychological stress with too many decions.
The room is so small and then has 2 glass sliders, one glass door and a window. Added there is no foundation under that room. So it does get cold and it is expensive to heat. When it gets super cold I’ll have to move my desk into my husband’s office!

@@ThisMainerMom Great! I too hate seeing chords around but we seem doomed by co existence with them. What I do suggest is to pull the chords through the back of the cupboard and have them plug into an extension that then goes to the socket.
This will avoid fire hazards and them getting overheated 😊 love your channel and so relatable! Take care and bless you!

Sometimes I think we start to many things at once. I can become overwhelming. I'm gradually learning to not do that. It creates to much psychological stress with too many decions.

The room is so small and then has 2 glass sliders, one glass door and a window. Added there is no foundation under that room. So it does get cold and it is expensive to heat. When it gets super cold I’ll have to move my desk into my husband’s office!
