Insight Series - Publication Talks - "Assembly for Peace"

Erica Gaston, Head of Conflict Prevention and Sustaining Peace Programme at United Nations University Centre for Policy Research, will present the new publication “Assembly for Peace: a digital handbook on the UN General Assembly’s past practice on peace and security”, launched in September 2024.
This handbook is the first of its kind and is a user-friendly resource on the General Assembly's Charter-based powers and past practice on peace and security. Gaston will discuss how this publication came into being, its recommendations and how it can be used in any courses studying the United Nations.
