Agree, Twilight Princess final dungeon easily number one. I’d say TP has some of the best designed Zelda dungeons in the series.
Tp: too easy combat wise/ quite challenging puzzle wise
puzzles were amazing and dungeons were sick

I don't really remember the TP Hyrule Castle dungeon tbh. I only remember the Ganondorf fights, which were epic, though a bit clunky because of motion controls. I'd rather play it again on Game Cube or love to see a remake or a port to the Switch. I do remember I liked the story but I don't have the game myself, I played it at a friend's, but I will get it in time.
Twilight Princess's Hyrule Castle is not just my favorite final dungeon, it is my favorite dungeon in the series.
I like the music that gets more serious as you go closer to Ganon in The castle of LoZ: TP

Having music build atnosphere is one of the things twlight princess does beat
The Castle Courtyard being completely silent was a genius move by the developers, set the mood perfectly - then you finally get inside and it just builds and builds from there. Makes it feel very big.

Sure, Twilight Princess still is my favorite Zelda game, so many memorable dungeons. Hope that the next zelda game is a combination of TP and BOTW, that is the only way the series could get better.
Add Majora's mask's cast of characters and sense of urgency.

Jacob Cortez Majoras mask sidequests are the best so a combo of them and twilight princess would be amazing
I wasn’t expecting twilight princess that’s my favorite game out of the series.
What makes TP Hyrule Castle #1 for me is the moment you square up against Beast Ganon by turning into a beast yourself in order to take him on.

All is about Midna's amazing character arc (actually, TP nails character development everywhere). Only Majora's Mask makes me care about the characters more in a Zelda game.

A lot better of a dungeon. It builds upon itself with each visit by opening up new opportunities and new ways to solve puzzles with each visit. That is genius design if I ever saw it. The tower takes away the interesting component of revisiting it so...
TP is definitely the best, but not even an honorable mention of The Moon?

I am SO glad that Sky Keep is getting some love. It’s my favorite final dungeon ever and second favorite dungeon in Skyward Sword.

TP isn't my favorite in the series so when I realized it was going to be number 1 my first reaction was to disagree on principle. Then you made your arguments and I found myself remembering, "Oh yeah! OH yeah, that was great, too!" and I was instantly won over. It was a great final level. Great job with your persuasive reasoning!

sky keep was so fun, it was different and it was so cool to see every mechanic in the game come together

Not really a last dungeon, but it's one of my favorite dungeons as well.
I personally really like the moon from MM. It has 4 mini dungeons, an awesome dungeon item (Fierce Deity Mask), a Heart Container (4 Heart Pieces) and a sick final boss. Maybe it doesn't really count as a dungeon but I love it anyway.
The #1 on my list was the DLC final divine beast in BoTW. That gave me cHILLS. Especially how the music progressed as you complete a room, and the final boss, then the ending scene after "beating" the game. Especially with all memories ughhghhg. So good. Made me cry.

@@Lionlovesunity Twilight Princess is like an hybrid of Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time and A link to the past. Storywise, it is the succesor of Majora's Mask for now, it is very emotional and melancholic.

Great list, I agree with almost every entry and that numer #1 was perfect.
Personally I 100% agree. I LOVE that Twilight Princess made it, as I always got stuck in the Twili Palace, so when I beat the game I felt like I solved world hunger.

The entire 2nd act of Twilight Princess is Golden, in dungeons AND story progression. The final cherry is a 4-part boss fight WAR with Ganondorf. Easily my favorite Zelda for such epic themes. The timeline connection it has with OOT Link is also undeniable and elevates Twilight Princess to a sequel to OOT, imo.

Whenever I remember all Dungeons of the Legend of Zelda Series' I must be honest here - All the Twilight Princess Dungeons stuck out to me MORE, than any other Zelda Games Dungeons. There wasn't even one Dungeon in TP, that I actually did not like. All the Bosses were Fun to fight, all the Dungeons had REALLY good desinges to them as also memorable Dungeon themes playing in the Background and ofcourse, that my most favourite Zelda Game (tbh there is no better Zelda game so far), has the Best Final DUNGEON ever in a Zelda game!...
2nd Act Twilight Princess (post Lakebed) is the Toppest of Top-Tier Zelda goodness.
You should also include Majora's Mask moon
On one point i agree. But almost all of the puzzles or challanges were super annoying. Especially the goron and zora. The 3ds controls held it back a lot. Final boss was amazing tho and acquiring the fierce deity mask
@@GameTimeNLLI don't have problems with Zora Link, but, the swimming looks bad if you compare it to Twilight Princess or Skyward sword LOL.
The moon is tough if you want to complete the game at 100%.
@@saricubra2867 i Find especially the jumping out the water with the zora on 3ds hella annoying. Some times it works some times not. And at the moon part that was really frustrating.
And the depth of view in that part was really bad so it was very hard to guess when you should jump otherwise you were brought back to the beginning.
@@GameTimeNLL Yeah, the same happens with the N64. The camera in gamecube TP, WW, BOTW and the other remasters are way better.
Also, i can't imagine the goron sections inside the Moon with Super Mario 64's camera LOL.

I wouldn't say it was the best but it by far is a great and enjoyable one. As in my eyes I preferred the skyward sword. But it could have been better that's the same with the twilight princess as it did have its bad moments but I have to admit it was a memorable game to play.

I'm sorry you can't appreciate the fact that most Zelda fans base it off the story rather than the controls.
I love Twilight Princess, it's my favorite Zelda game but I do have some issues with it, one of the issues is that, with the exception of the fight with Ganon, the final dungeon feels short (as does the Palace of Twilight and Temple of Time). Yes you can make it a bit longer by getting two keys in the courtyard so you can unlock the special supply room right before you go to fight Ganon but once you get in it's fight, go into another room, fight again, go across a bridge, watch a neat cut scene, get a chest, go across another bridge, fight, get chest, go into room that requires wolf link, go upstairs to another room, fight, go into special room if you have the key, fight Ganon (love that fight), end of game.
Or at least that how I remember it, I could be wrong though.

Breath of the Wild wasn’t the first time you could run straight through the final dungeon to the boss. The Moon in Majora’s Mask has four optional challenges only completable if you’ve collected all of the masks. And the Majora’s Mask kid gives you the Fierce Deity Mask as a reward.
How did you get HD images of N64 Ocarina of Time (was it Master Quest? It didn't seem like 3D remake in many shots...). Also, Breath of the Wild video seemed Ultra HD. Is that just a Switch on a really good monitor/TV? Or the 4K remake? Curious how to get great visuals on my Zelda experiences!

6:20 If i remember correctly ezlo (or whatever the Name of the hat is) can be used to glide with the Help of whirlwinds But shown in the vid ist the Cape which lets you jump whenever you want and glide a bit.

i just wish sky keep had a final boss like geraheim coming in to stop you only to fail which will make the cut scean with zelda being kidnapped so much more difficult to watch link helpless after 3 successful fights with geraheim only to lose everything in the process that would make the last fight with gerahiem so much more satisfying to beat him down and defeat him only to have to beat Demise afterwords and with Skyward Sword the most story driven game other than maybe Twilight Primness i would have loved that to be the case

I’m so glad Sky Keep made it really high on the list! I thought the buildup and puzzles were great but the dungeon would’ve been even better with a proper boss within the dungeob

I’m so surprised/disappointed the moon didn’t make it. It’s such a psychological mindfuck with the beautiful scenery and the purity of children playing. All this, moments after the anxiety of the giants suffering and trembling to hold the moon. My thoughts, the vid is great nonetheless!!
I just wanted more of an overwhelming force for the end dungeon in parts with few more unique puzzles. With final dungeons I think that it should be heavily guarded and closed down and made to your disadvantage since it's their Dark Lord and they've seen and heard all about you making your way through the other quests, learning, obtaining more items and skills along the way. I feel they should give you a real test of your wit skills stamina/hearts and patience. That's why Botw is currently my fav and needs to be built on hopefully for a sequel or prequel even more

Unpopular Opinion: I really like the PH and ST final dungeons.
Also i think you should have seperared 2D and 3D Zeldas since they are different kinds of games.

Yea guys seriously the final dungeon is a reason I believe Twilight Princess to be my favorite Zelda...one of the most epic moments in all of Zelda. Amazing buildup, my favorite final boss ever, amazing design, resistance, puzzles...definitely my favorite final dungeon. Here’s my top 10

It's not really a dungeon, but I always liked the 4 mini dungeons type things you do at the end of MM. They're fun, the goron one is hard and you get the mofo deity mask
I personally like Sky Keep the best, but a close second would be The Tower of Spirits. Mainly because I was so happy I didn't have to climb it all over again after each visit like The Temple of the Ocean King.

everytime i play tp the last dungeon makes me cry each time, realizing that is where the hero of time was buried. due to my respect to the dead i cannot play tp without going to his graveyard and crying.

Bump OoT's temple to 2 and BotW to 3 and put Skyward Sword's at 4 for me. I loved the ending to Skyward Sword, but I found the puzzle temple to be really simple and it didn't offer me the challenge I was hoping for. However, the final boss more than made up for it. I just found BotW's 'dungeon' to be a place where I could always come back to if I wanted a nearly never ending fight with great rewards. Of course my placement of OoT and Twilight Princess are no brainers. Twilight Princess had the hands down best final dungeon. It set the bar really really high and made you think quite a bit, and it offered the best twists to the story I have ever seen in a Zelda game.

I agree with the whole list the only annoying things were all the dungeons in ocarina of time twilight princess and link between worlds before the final but I love all the dungeons you picked

Zelda II doesn't have a save at the Great Palace because it's dangerous to get back. It's literally there because on the FDS it was the other side of the disk. The rest of the game is on side A, whereas the Great Palace was side B, it NEEDED a save so you could actually play it. When they did the NES release, which obviously uses carts, it wasn't necessary to flip, but there also wasn't any particularly good reason to remove the save at the entrance bit. Can pretty much assure you that after the REST of Zelda II, Nintendo didn't care if you died and had to go back to Sleeping Zelda, it was just a matter of necessity.

Well, my number 1 is without questions Breath of the Wild Hyrule Castle. Its just so fckn epic. Depending on your journey, its better or worse. I did the whole world saving tour. Freeing all 4 divine beasts, getting the master sword and so on. And after..i dont know, 100h? hour of playtime...i took the first steps into the town. I battled my way to the gates and oh boy....You go in there and the music starts...slowly.. bombastic. I knew i could go straight to ganon, but no. I searched all the castle. Got into every room. Beating guardians, Moblins and worse. After that...i took my first steps in the throneroom. Sad thing is, Ganon as a last boss is way to easy. Sure, it looks epic, but the actuall fight..meh.. But the castle itself is still my most favorite in all of the game.

I feel bad that Links awakening did not make the list. Not the first Zelda game I played, but the first I owned and assuming my little brother hasn’t give it away I should still have it!

I will agree with everything but Hyrule Castle(Breath of the Wild and Ganon's Castle(Ocarina of time).
I would have swapped their spots but that is because I had more enjoyment of the Hyrule Castle from Breath of the wild then Ganon's Castle from Ocarina of time.
Everything else on the list I feel is prefect on the list but that is just my opinion.
When i was trying to collect everything in Tp i looked at a guide to know the location of all the stuff and i discovered that there is a zone in the castle that i never visited when i finished. I still wonder where it exactly is it wss supposed to be filled with stalfos. But all i remember was getting to the ghosts part and this stalfos site was apparently before... Maybe they trolled me with the guide. And yes Tp final dungeon is the best for me. And also it was my fisrt legend of zelda completed and when i played it i did not know english and the game was in complete english. It took me many months but I got it without the guide with an exception when you have to get the fish to get to snowpeak temple

Never really thought much about 'Sky Keep.' Would still have put OoT Final Dungeon 2nd. Would agree with TP Final Dungeon being 1st. BoTW's Final Dungeon was interesting but the climax to the Final Boss was a major disappointment.
