Fantastic episode, I reckon it's the farmer that lent you the spreader, by lending it to you, he keeps suspicion away from himself, its possible he knows George is expanding the farm and that could drastically decrease his profit margins! Can't wait for the next one scroft, should have made this series a film!

You know, it's those bloody city folk, or somebody that is really jealous about how good the farm is starting to look... Almost as if somebody doesn't want the farm to expand and end up right next to theirs... You know what I'm saying.

I wonder if the guy who picked up the harvester put the nails in the field. And, did someone do something to your tractor. Your tractor was running fine. This is puzzling. I love this series. I hope it never ends.

No, I don't see why the mechanic would have issue. Bigger farms, more jobs for him. It must be the Tony guy who has a rival cow farm.

Aug. 12, 2022 Maybe it's time for a farmdog down at your place Mr. S. He could keep an eye out on the fields and possibly chase away whoever's sabotaging everything. I sure hope they didn't put something in your radiator......At least, if all the did was drain it, there won't be any reason to flush the motor. Looks to me like Mr. George's neighbors aren't all that friendly.....Be careful young man. Thanks for another great episode.
Well, Scroft, that's a bit of a pickle! For the nails, you're gonna need a magnet drag bar. Hopefully they're iron nails. I've had to do that twice on one of our fields when I was a youngin'. As for the tractor, with the fresh rain, look for boot/footprints that don't match you or George's boots. Probably just lead to the road though. Looks like George has made some "enemies"!

There's definitely some sabotage shenanigans afoot. I think you'll need to get the bleeper ready for next episode Scroft, George will probably lose it again when he sees the tractor XD

An early episode spoiling us
I have an idea for you to help get all the nails out of the field. I have a metal detector and I know there's some pretty big metal detecting groups all over the world on Facebook/social media. Maybe try to look up a group near you, those guys generally are more than happy to help out.

awe dont go down the sabotage route, keep it as a "started from the bottom, now where here" kinda series, but i digress this could have been campers and they left there pegs or something, so either way exited to see what happens, im just not a drama kinda person, like i grew up watching soaps with my mam, im over all that lol my opinion though i know

What is this map called?
Calmsden Farm is the base map.
It is a fantastic map.
Keep in mind Scroft has done little bit of map editing in giants editor and also added a few more sheds and buildings.
Scroft has done a fantastic job at editing it 👏 .
Would love to have a copy of his map , his changes has made it great for those wanting to go real small scale farming .
