My favorite Dany solo song. Just wait for the 30th anniversary album when she extends it like 5 minutes!! (manifesting🤞). The whole song is magnificent as well. Any time you combine Pau on keyboard with “Dany Gilmour” & it’s guaranteed 🥲🥲 every time.
That solo though... I love it. She's amazing.
Dany is fantastic at multitasking and improvising on the fly. You can see her figuring out the song on the guitar and correcting herself multiple times in real time and she forgets the end and once again improvises it on the spot. 🤘🏻
To see more of this kind of fearlessness playing old material, the acoustic show that Dany and Pau did for a Montreal radio station CHOM is fantastic. You also get to see their personalities brightly shine.

Show Me the Light is one of their more underrated songs, especially the guitar solo.

We can see at the end that this song means a lot to Dany. I get choked up hearing this song, as well! Pau's voice just cuts me every time. Dany doesn't know how to perform without passion. There’s a very short clip from one of these midnight shows that I saw that really really killed me and endeared Dany to me for life; she started crying and I think she had a bad day or something had happened and it got to her and she said this while crying: “Always know that you are never alone and when you feel alone, music and me and my sisters will always be here for you…that killed me because I was in a bad situation and she gave me hope…thank you Dany I will always be grateful to you and your sisters…🤘🏽
Normally Pau sings this song and she does an amazing job as well. If you haven't seen it yet you should check it out. They performed it at the Dakota Bar if I recall correctly.

Show me the light is a rather hidden gem off their first album. I have to think because it is not a hard driving rock song people just skip.by it. I love this song. I love Dany's guitar solo. This was cool.

I humbly suggest that you check out the live performance of this tune by full band at Dakota Bar from 2018. Dany 17, Pau 15, Ale 13. Pau on lead vocals and piano. Dany's guitar solo is soooo much better with backing instruments.

I was lucky enough to catch this livestream and I was weeping. So many of the fans were posting love and support, and then I saw a post from Pau with the line “ Tell me how it feels like” So much love in this family.

This is a Pau song. Dany does her song proud with this performance. It's raw and real. Pau did it amazingly at the Dakota Bar 2018 show. But there is something really cool about this, as Dany pulls the cobwebs off of it and resurrects her "Dany Gilmour" guitar solo. The Dakota Bar performance is special, if you haven't heard it. Ale and Dany really shine while accompanying Pau on piano. The video is awful, but the audio is great, and the performance is spectacular. It's one of my favorites from them.

Parents like theirs are very very rare... they loved their daughters enough to give every spare penny they had to buy top shelf equipment, instruments and teachers they could. They believed in their daughters. I am sure they will never have to look back.
