    Well done! really nice flight! I'm flying mescal 6 (just bought it) and I hope i will do similar XC with EN-A wing. :) P.S. At some points your voice echoes, but its funny because it creates effect like you became "enlightened" or something xD.

      Thanks for the comment 👍🏼. I am sure you will have great flights with your new Mescal wing. Take it step by step and you'll have even longer XC flights with an A wing. It is a bit tricky but with practice it'll get better. Yeah, I know the echo you talk about. Gopro tries to suppress the wind noises and prioritize my voice... That's why that funky effect 😅

    My longest flight in the EN-A wing was 31km :) And not much ridge soaring.

      Congratulations, dude. Well done. Wish you more, longer flights to come. Stay tuned!

    Congrats. Let the wing fly when on transition. Hands to the pulley and rest your index finger in between the lines coming off your Cs.With the rest of the fingers around them. You can use the Cs to some extent to dampen any pitch from small. turbulence. This is how we fly on speed, we are 100% hands up... and controlling on Cs (or Bs and using some handles when flying two liners).

      Thanks a lot for the advice. Yeah, I remember... I heard this somewhere before. I will try next time and see how it feels like. I know it looks like I am pulling down a lot of break, but actually I am really just on slight contact with the wing. I am trying to let the glider 100% free and use the C's next time. 👍🏼

      @@Dvybz Awesome flught, great! 👏 I'm experiencing with the Cs as suggested by Rhys (I've a mescal too 😉), really useful. Transition controlling with the Cs and and half speed... in my last little xc approach, I fly with a group of EN B wings without loosing too much altitude this way.

      @@broh999 I will definitely try it out next time. It sounds very helpful. Yeah, you really need to use every little trick to not lose too much altitude and keep the wing at a good speed. Thanks for the comment, man! 👌🏼

      I was really happy, man 😅. Thanks a lot. Finally managed this distance. Really not easy in this region. Very hard to find any reliable thermal spots once you go XC. I appreciate!

    Awesome video, I'm glad you're flying again, do you have track log on xcontest as well?

      Thanks a lot, man. I am happy to be back in the air and especially to have had such a nice long flight. I do not have log on xcontest but I do post my flights on ayvri. This is where I have the graph of the flight 😁

    Watched a couple of your videos, it's nice that you are so passionate. But a hint for you, let that glider fly. You seem to be braking the wing a lot, try paying attention to it, especially in the moments before landing and when you do wingovers.

    • @Dvybz
      @Dvybz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for the advice and for the comment. I do SEEM to be braking the wing a lot but I actually don't. My brakes need to be pulled quite a bit to brake the paraglider. I did the test a couple of times by looking up at the trailing edge. I need to pull around 10 cm down on the brakes to start having an effect on the glider. I am going to pay attention to use the C's when going XC and use less brakes. Yeah, wingovers need to be practiced more, that's for sure 😉.

      Hey man, thanks a lot for watching the videos. I hope you enjoy them 😄. I am living in the black forest, close to Freiburg. It would definitely be cool to fly together if the occasion occurs. I wish you lots of dope flights and safe landings 👍🏼
