This morning on a radio in Greece I heard Monsoon, I'm 30 years old, I went back to 2005 to 2007, I started crying, I remembered my love for this band and suddenly I get the notification from the channel that Monsoon came out again. I also remember the Concert of Tokio Hotel in Greece in 2009, I was an army and I secretly left the camp I traveled 7 hours by bus to see the Tokio up close! I'm growing up, I don't forget to love you guys!

I’m from America, when I was in second grade, age 7 this album was as released in English. It was my favorite and now almost 20 years later I found them again only to see how much time as truly passed. Love seeing them still perform and wish they would come to America again for concerts

I think people nowadays actually don’t realize how revolutionary Tokio Hotel were for that time with their music and their specific style, especially Bill’s. They were literally a group of highschool boys who are not British, not American, singing in their native language and still famous over the world. All without social media, only tv, teen magazines and ~ if you were a lucky one ~ TH-cam. If there was Tik Tok at the time, they would’ve been even bigger. You just had to be there.😄

I think it’s generous to call them revolutionary - the “emo” look was a common concept by that time - but I’m sure it was very meaningful for a German group to achieve success speaking German, when many German artists use only English in their songs (Lou Bega, Kim Petras, the Baseballs)

Why did we make fun of it back in the day ?? If you imagine it being played by someone who was taken more seriously, say Green Day, it would be considered a great song. But no one took it seriously, because they wore make up or whatever. Well, it´s a great song, I can see it now.
