At 3:08 you say to make sure the primary weapon is a Katana, multi-weaponed with a Wire Lance, rather than the other way around. That's not actually important, is it? If I'm not mistaken, you get full damage with the Katana part either way, as long as you're main class Braver (rather than sub-class Braver, which does get a damage loss). Unless I'm wrong on that part, I feel it might be worth considering Wire main since Wires are probably less in-demand and thus likely cheaper to buy higher Fixa versions of, in case you want to shop for a high level Fixa to transfer onto yours, rather than adding one yourself.
Winguard because I look at it as the “special” because it mainly drops from the dark falz fights. Definitely harder to fixa then eredium but I just got mine to 4 because I bought a bunch of foddler while they were still cheap. So… I’m happy.
Eredim. The deciding factor for me is the potential. Yeah, I could go for a Wingard but I like the added crit, PB gauge increase and PP consumption reduction. Plus as everyone has mentioned, the free augment transfers when I get bored of playing one weapon type. I'm really hoping we'll be able to choose potentials at some point.
Those aside, is is worth to invest a color-customized weapons which is very VERY rare to drop like Wingards, Excelios etc? (Mine dropped the Color customed Eredims etc which I collected them like ever)

As long as you have this weapon, you don't need a transfer pass. for your. weapons. You can transfer them back to the.EREDIM Weapon and then transfer them to another weapon of your choice without using augment pass. I hope that makes it simplified. I mean I tried it, unless it’s a glitch it doesn’t work like that. Wish it did but still required the pass. Only time it didn’t require a pass is when using two eredim or when eredim was the material, which is useful when upgrading upwards from eredim but that’s far from never needing a aug pass on weapons. I implore you to double check.

Hello I just checked this right now. Can confirm that using Lvl 90 Exelio as base, you can transfer all augments from an Eredim without using a transfer pass. As long as the material is Eredim, the transfer is free.
It all comes down to whether you want only BIS or not. For most of my characters, that isn't so important. For my two main use characters, I do chase gear. At the same time, I am less concerned about this for the time being. For most, the Eredim is perfectly fine, with the Exelio being the upgrading path one soon, being a solid investment. And I have to remember to get some Exelio weapons for my non-main stuff if I don't have better. May do it in general, but only to see what the potential upgrade path has to offer. They may push Wingard out of BIS, but the Wigard, much like the Flugelgard, will remain a very useful weapon due to the PB effect. Flugelgard for the buff, Wingard for the damage bonus. I do agree with others that if Exelio becomes upgradeable to a further rarity and effectiveness, it will become BIS, especially as it will effect the M.A.R.S. in terms of the raw damage I believe. What I am really looking forward to is what the path for the Ektasis will provide. They are already solid armors so seeing how they will improve will be interesting. Then again, chasing armors has often been easier than for the weapons. Or at least cheaper. One thing I will note is that the advent of the Eredim weapons has made it easier, though not necessarily less expensive, to gear up to endgame quality weapons. They aren't BIS, but they are solid and I have encouraged a friend to use them for her alts because they are solid weapons. Especially if you can get the right EX Augments for your playstyle or preferences.
I came back a week ago and bought 3 Hu Eradim weapons (fixa5). I will take advantage of boost event and prep the Exelio weapons but hold off on transfering the augments until we know more about the upgrades
I loved having my Eredim weapon in the beginning but then I wanted more power and got a wingard weapon finally. So much for that though 😅 Exeilo it is now... Glad I didn't sell any yet.
For cheap potency options, you can go for the LC augments and Stat V. For current endgame, it's Lux Halphinale, Glan Gigas, Gran Gladia, and Anaddi. For the 3 EX Augments, you can choose according to your playstyle, but a popular one for dps is Shortage PP Burn + Hysterical Strength + Endure Pain PB Boost.
yeah... literally my first (and only) Exelio weapon that has dropped for me so far was a Katana with Fixa Fatale Lv. 3 😅 had considered selling it for a quick buck but decided against it

Eredim + octo armor user here lolol I have great free EX augs, I just wish 1 stealth was the gradual pressing for bosses: stealth, camo, and PP gain for each dead enemy.
eredim might be good, just wait until next 12 weapon, and you can free transfer the augment without using pass, more saver than exelio since we dont know whats the upgrade and condition . And its easy to get eredim
To be fair I don’t think Wingards (high fixa) will be obsolete even when new weapons and upgrade is available they will hold there own. However higher level weapons also effect M.A.R.S if I’m correct.
To clarify, you no longer require augment passes to change augments on any weapon of your choice. The only time you need augment passes is for your armor. EREDIM serves as your transfer passes. As previously mentioned, it's common knowledge that you can transfer augments from one weapon to another. By a somewhat unreliable margin, but it's still functional- My second character is running with a Flugel as a main weapon for now. You don't but when you first transfer your EX augments to let's say a Wingard the three augments will transfer but wipe out the existing augments on the Wingard.
lol. Do what I did and just invest in all three. with the event right now where everything is 50% off. It's really is possible to do it. So if you feel like going for that way, that's what I would do. But knowing my luck now that I got all three maxed out and everything. Sega will throw a new weapon out there and screw me over And then I get to say thank you, Sega, for ruining my life again.
Of course, everything will be obsolete until final 15* weapon come out. If you arent aiming for beating highest difficulty quest right now seasonal weapons are good enough, yes. These high tier weapons are for people that are chasing high difficulty content or just people that want to be stronger in general.
I just upgraded to exelio from my versh a few days ago. Loved the 100% crits but it was time to move on, once I studied up what the eredims were even for. But since I waited so long, I was overflowing with mats😂
Short answer, none... They'll all be worst than any base tier/event weapon next update, that cycle is the reason I've quit the game a few updates ago....
We need to petition a ban on those who still uses the free gear you get at lv 65 and the seasons weapon WITH the seasonal augment STILL attached. People refuse to upgrade their equipment. They hold back players who do high difficulty content and drag along the quests. It's highly annoying. Not to mention servers carry snot nosed jerks.
Agree..Honestly I don't mind if they didn't want to upgrade their weapon or augments but please don't just casually try to join an end game content like DFD rank 2. Not to be a jerk here, but seasonal weapon or LC augment is not enough for the end game content. They're only gonna be a burden for other player, sorry if my opinion hurting some of player here 🙏🙏🙏
Yea, it happen to me a lot, i feel sorry for them but i have no idea why they think that *Ultra Hard Dificulty* quest is clearable without any gear investment.

eredim user here. easy to max fixa and easy to change multiweapon anytime since its basically free😄
Investing on cheaper weapons also makes it easy to level up its fixas since the fodders are dirt cheap.

I do this with a wingard sword/wand. I got a wingard sword drop a while ago and added a wand.

You're stuck with the three on the weapon. The X variants are the best. Some Augments work together to create nice bonuses.

I bought Wingard Talis with fixa 3 for 650k. Then slapped Katana on it for 400k. I think choice is no-brainer rn.

All these weapons and armor are just gonna be obsolete later, which is why I don't bother, the free seasonal weapon is enough for me
