This tornado formed 8 miles north of Laramie, Wyoming and is shown here crossing U.S. Route 30, the historic Lincoln Highway. It rapidly intensified, tearing up grass and dirt as it traveled over mainly open fields. The tornado followed the contour of the land up and over the Laramie mountain range for over 45 minutes before dissipating. Best tornado video I have ever seen. Not one of the chasers is screaming "OMG OMG OMG" for the entire video.

The cinematography is awesome, powerful; just stunningly beautiful. This is the best I've seen out of all of the countless videos of tornadoes on line.

I am not an expert on animals in a tornado but at the 2:06 mark there are three horses in the lower left hand corner that for an entire minute never move. Don't lift their heads, don't rip more grass, don't take a step. They seem completely unaware of a giant dark object moving right at them. They are completely frozen. This doesn't jive with what I know of animals.
Thank you for pointing that out. I was waiting for the quonset hut to get sucked up so I didn't notice any animals. There seems to be some on the right side of the hut too.
The video is frickin fake
Fake? You think this is fake? Have you ever been near a tornado? Being near one is fine, you can stand outside of them and be fine. Any closer or being in it's path is when you are in danger. From a distance they are just a mass of wind traveling. It's literally a concentrated funnel of wind that impacts the LZ and path.
It is true!! I also found the coloring of the houses and the shape of the drawing strange ... it seems to me fack news !!
Notice at 1:20 the color of houses and sheds, it is very artificial ... very fake !!
This is probably the first thing people think of when they think “tornado”. Look at it, it’s so well defined that it looks more like an artist’s depiction of a Tornado.

This was the first tornado I ever saw live! From a safe distance of course. I was at my parents place on the north edge of Laramie, got a good view from the deck.
Was in my room studying for a midterm and heard an alert on the phone out of nowhere. Looked out the window just see this massive funnel north of town. Crazy first time seeing one in person!

So many tornado videos have rain on the windshield, with wipers going - and it's so distracting! How did he get this without the rain? Perhaps enough distance with a lot of zoom? Amazing.

Apparently compressed air is used to keep the dome clear
The storm was a low precipitation supercell, so there was hardly any rain in the vicinity of the tornado, allowing for perfect viewing conditions.
Great footage but man tornadoes freak me out. Those are the only reoccurring nightmares I've ever had.

This dude is so damn calm. I'd probably be freaking. His truck must be custom built to withstand the weight of his ginormous balls of titanium. He laughs at all of those tornado disaster movies, and their green screen twisters that Helen Hunt, despite spending her entire life chasing tornadoes, for some unfathomable reason, has never been able to get data from one of them. Her whole freaking life, and she couldn't get her little device in the path of a tornado. They should have sent this guy. He would have calmly pulled up next to the tornado, and nonchalantly, released his device like he does it every day. A true Boss!!
