I’m Proud to be an Ornn main after Watching this. I really love his character, and this lore. This makes Ornn to one of the most powerfull characters in all of league. A shame that he is sp underrestimated on the rift, he’s late game is pretty damn strong
I love how Ornn's gameplay reflects his lore : in too much of the Frejlord, he's seen as the less powerful brother, and underrated; and in the game, he's often seen as just a tank who can make upgrades. When, in reality, he made the Freljord and indestructible artifacts, so he is the most powerful brother; and any Ornn main knows what it's like when your ennemy in top doesn't respect the damage Ornn's combos can deal
i read voli's lore i thought he was a good guy trying to protect his tribe the ursine but now riot changed him i dont know which to believe i hope he gets reworked cause im through fighting a vayne and her 2 shoting me (a tank ffs) if he gets reworked i hope that his lore gets updated too so i can understand what exactly what he is and why he did all those things i wanna see the real demigod of thunder
if they made god-like champs god-like in game, you pick them and you'd insta-win... like A-Sol, he could just destroy everything/one in a single blow/star-creation. and Bs champs (zed, akali, fizz, yasuo, etc...) are broken in game because they're really not... the game's truly balanced around I believe diamond+? So if you're below diamond there's gonna be a good amount of things that are not ok (balance wise), but beyond diamond everything's the same (for the most part, if anything champs are useless up there as opposed to down here in bronze-plat)

So I’d imagine the weapon or armour would just end up being a brialliant anti magic device while still being a great offensive weapon.

Thor was challenged by a giant named Utgard-Loki to a similar contest and was sure he would win, but the giant was cunning and skilled in magic. He hid the entire ocean into the beer horn, making sure the god would not win. Thor still lowered the sea's level quite a bit in his efforts but ultimately lost.

I'd take Ornn's feats, and these stories in general, with a pinch of salt. After all, these are myths of ancient events that survive only through the oral tradition. Admittedly, there is a lot of supernatural power in this setting, even a galaxy dragon that can create stars on a whim. So it could be true, or it could be exaggerations and forgetting the true reasoning and context. In regards to the occasional smoke from (presumably) his forge, my guess is mix of maintaining the volcano and his forge, along with him having lost the will and the spark that drove his earlier work. Even introverts need some social interaction, and some of his greatest work has been for the benefit of others. A smith who only makes for themselves is kind of limited. He might start up a project, only to lose focus or motivation.

He wasn't really ever a noble warrior though. He was more a jealous leader wanna-be. He forcefully changed the way of the Ursine to fit how he felt it should, warrior beings, not peaceful and lazy. So he sort of "ascended" one might say, and fought for the title of the leader. He didn't have honor, or nobility, he didn't have his beliefs shaped through wars, battles, conquering and defeats. Like, say, Garen, or Jarvan, or even Nasus. Those are noble warriors, Volibear is just kinda a leader by force that hasn't really done much.

Analysing them colors ( purple and red) we could think that they are weapon coming from the void and they use the blood of battle to get new powers. I think it would quite a neat story if someone, or perhaps a small group from Piltover/Zaun made something of a pilgrimage to the foot of his mountain and took up the torch of those who admired Ornn back in the day. Maybe they could help convince him to leave his mountain again. Maybe have a round two with Volibear with Ornn going on the offensive to move the fight away from the squishy people after some character growth.

Mr.J Anonymous most likely. The shovel is also "lost in darkness" which might of hinted at the black mists of the shadow isles where Yorick lives. And since fizz is a small sized character it makes sense his race would mistake a god's fork for a trident.

I don't play LOL (don' have a computer good enough to support the game), but I LOVE the intricate lore of Runeterra, and it's fast becoming one of my favorite fictional worlds, and you've been a big help toward that. i hate the change to voli. he goes from a noble warrior to a hateful war god.
He wasn't really ever a noble warrior though. He was more a jealous leader wanna-be. He forcefully changed the way of the Ursine to fit how he felt it should, warrior beings, not peaceful and lazy. So he sort of "ascended" one might say, and fought for the title of the leader. He didn't have honor, or nobility, he didn't have his beliefs shaped through wars, battles, conquering and defeats. Like, say, Garen, or Jarvan, or even Nasus. Those are noble warriors, Volibear is just kinda a leader by force that hasn't really done much.

How about the fact that he has been referred to as 'he' numerous times? I know that isn't much proof, but thats the only sliver of information we have. And it tips the scale of Urf's gender to being male, albeit slightly.

Hi necrit , i got some new idees for the darkins origin. Analysing them colors ( purple and red) we could think that they are weapon coming from the void and they use the blood of battle to get new powers. We could also see a principal factor of being a void personnage as a big eye or strange one( the herald, vel koz, and kayn in is basic form)

I think it would quite a neat story if someone, or perhaps a small group from Piltover/Zaun made something of a pilgrimage to the foot of his mountain and took up the torch of those who admired Ornn back in the day. Maybe they could help convince him to leave his mountain again.
Maybe have a round two with Volibear with Ornn going on the offensive to move the fight away from the squishy people after some character growth.
