    Great video, should link to where to buy. I blew fireworks in brick mailbox for 4th of July, bad idea! Box rusted out, replaced with metal box had to cut back rib off now that box has rusted out I’m 100% doing this!

    Excellent Product! I'm just a lady who grew up watching her dad tackle minor jobs at home, but am a firm believer in you can do anything you set your mind to. I installed this mailbox door today and here's what worked for me. A Dremel 200 w/ a 1.5 inch metal blade (5 pack). I marked a line 1.5 inches inside the old mailbox w/ a Sharpie, cut through the old box w/ the Dremel, removed metal scrap w/ pliers, sealed around edges w/ clear Silicone caulk, set new door in w/ set screws. Beautiful! TY

    Very smart solution to replacing these things. Difference between professional and a DIY. This one is pro!

    I would love to get one of these doors, but the website seems broken and unmaintained. I fear that this business has died. A shame really -- their product is exactly what I am looking for (replacement door on brick mailbox with locking door), which nobody else seems to offer.

    Also, the neighbors came over to see what I was doing and were VERY IMPRESSED at the QUALITY of this mailbox door. Thank you Vaughn's mailbox door for having the product that solved my problem! I highly recommend this product to anyone with a bricked in mailbox that needs a new door.

    DANG sure wish I had seen this video first. My mailbox is well seated in concrete and it is hot. Boy did I do mine wrong. This makes and looks so great. LOVE this video. May I ask a question what brand of saw are you using? and yes I am a girl and don't know saws, but I have been looking for one that has more clearance than other hand saws. Looks like an angle grinder of some kind.

    Any handyman should be able to tackle this Job. If you call the mailbox door vendor they can recommend someone for you.

    Curb Appeal! It starts at the curb! There is absolutely no better way to dress up that brick, stucco or Stone mailbox than to have a Vaughn Mailbox door installed. While you may not have the tools needed to do the install yourself, this is actually a relatively simple process. If not, Mr. Vaughn will install for you at a reasonable price provided you are within his travel parameter. I cannot express in writing the quality Mr. Vaughn has put into this product. He is the inventor, owner and installer. Any other product you will see trying to duplicate Vaughn's Mailbox doors are just trying to sway you based on price. I am proud to see a small business owner who has dedicated their time in making a valuable product that is reasonably priced. Thank you Brian, I hope this will be the last one I need, but look forward to helping others enjoy your products. The Flag is my favorite! Quality without question!

    Can you drill a hole on fancy brick to insert mailbox?

    Pretty straight forward but what if you don't have one of those handy-dandy saws? A nice looking product but not sure I'd call it "easy".

    Would have been an informative video if you would have told us what kind of saw you were using, what kind of saw blade you were using, how you determined how far to make your cut, what kind of glue you were using, what size of screws you were using. Basically all the stuff that you already know but didn't tell us. Would be nice to know where you can get all that stuff too. Guess I'll just wing it. I hope my bottle of slime will hold it on. If not, guess I'll make another trip to Dollar Store.

      @calvinbrady9944 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's clear silicone caulk for $2.99, not glue. The screws are included. Any saw for metal will work. Lowes, Walmart or Home Depot sell caulk. How helpless are you?

    Very nice job. However, I have to agree with tntkop, it's not very informative. Ain't no way I'm gonna tackle that job myself.

    Made easy? With that amount of cutting you could have replaced the entire box
