    Came here from imperial knowledge. Well done video. My fav hold is probably the Rift. Nice nature and I actually like Riften. Reach as a close second, I love the little Inn with the Ghost.

      The Rift and Reach are very good choices. Both offer a lot of history and beauty. Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it!

      For me it's Riften then Windhelm then Dawnstar then Markarth then Whiterun. I like Falkreath for the Lakeview Manor I get. The others suck.

    Skyrim was the first elder scrolls game I played, and I fell in love with it so much. Whiterun was the first hold I went to, and it’ll hold a special place in my heart

      I completely agree. Buying Breezehome for the first time and interacting with Whiterun's citizens will always be a core memory of mine. Thank you for the comment

    Falkreath hold, it’s always fun exploring and eventually building a house in the region, even since playing Skyrim at launch I’ve always been drawn to the Falkreath hold

    I like Eastmarch. The harsh, rugged and decrepit City of Windhelm and the rustic, huge house spoke to me. It feels like our presence can do the most good here plus I'd rather be in a snowy city made of stone during a dragon's attack than in a town consisting of wooden huts and without real walls. Super plus, hot springs are kind of my thing.

      Hjerim is the best city house in the game. It’s not as fancy as Proudspire Manor, but it’s bigger and the armory is a nice feature that Proudspire doesn’t have, all with it being half the price of Proudspire Manor. Getting it does make you have to involve yourself in the civil war and either win it for the Empire, or get past Falkreath playing as the Stormcloaks.

      I feel the same about Falkreath. Especially when you get close to the Jerall Mountain, it's pure bliss.

    Winterhold is my favorite hold because of its lore and what exactly happened to it.

    I like the nords, imperials, and the reachman. It's hard to choose between the nine. So I made four sections: the north (hjaalmarch, the pale, and winterhold), the west (haafingar and the reach), the center (the white hold and falkreath), and the east (eastmarch and the rift).
    N. Pale due to it being the strongest of the three (excluding the college)
    W. Reach due to the forsworn
    C. Falkreath nature and potential
    E. Rift ........dawnguard

    My favorites in each criteria: Nature/Environment: The Rift. Aesthetic: Whiterun. Characters: Whiterun. House: Haafingar. Hearth fire House: Hjaalmarch. I really liked the video and I came here from Imperial Knowledge as well. Great content 👍

    • @thexith
      @thexith  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is eerily similar to mine. I'd switch out Nature/Environment with Falkreath but The Rift is a really close second for me. Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it

    • @flamesofchaos13
      @flamesofchaos13 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nature/Environment: The Rift and Falkreath Hold tied.
      Aesthetic: The Pale and Reach and Windhelm I like the snow and mountains the smaller but comfy town and the city with Dwemer ruins and the very Nordic stone city.
      Characters: Riften and Whiterun Hold mainly the Thieves and Companions...Honorable(Dishonorable?) mention to Falkreath Hold and the Pale for the Dark Brotherhood.
      House: Whiterun and Windhelm tied.
      Hearthfire House: Falkreath Hold.

    I have 3 favorite holds:
    1. Whiterun- for the same reasons which you mention in the video. I also love the Companions (the best fraction in the game)
    2. Hjaalmarch- I love it's wild and gloomy landscape. Also Morthal seems to be peaceful and quiet enough for me to just rest there.
    3. Rift- I love it's wild nature and I believe that Riften has really unique and underestimated history. And I think that jarl Laila is one of the best jarls in Skyrim. She cares about her people, but she is blinded and lied by Maven and advisors.
    I also love the Reach, but I prefere this version which we see in The Elder Scrolls Online, while it is ruled by the Reachman.

    • @thexith
      @thexith  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great list. Whiterun and Hjaalmarch are definitely a good pick. Laila's heart is in the right place but she's a bit naive when it comes to Riften's problems. Thank you for the comment and I hope you'll stick around :)

    The Pale has always been my favorite. Maybe it’s the Daedric lore. The snow. The name “Dawnstar.” I also like the layout of the property you get. I think there was a game about Dawnstar. 🤔

  • @andreafranzen7088
    @andreafranzen7088 ปีที่แล้ว

    My list is:
    1. Whiterun - classic tundra
    2. The Rift - serene forest
    3. The Reach - unlike any other
    4. Falkreath - classic forest
    5. Hjaalmarch - eerie
    6. Winterhold - classic arctic
    7. Eastmarch - kinda meh despite the hot springs
    8. The Pale - pales in comparison with Winterhold
    9. Haafingar - meh
