    Welcome to the BBC Bad Back Club or in my case Broken Back Club.I twisted my spine 30yrs ago & had issues since.
    After I broke my back 20months ago they told me my back was Arthritic due to 30yrs if twisted spine & working with bad back.Since I broke my T3, T6, T7 & the arthritis Doc got me in Arthritis antiinflammatory drug Celecoxib(Celebrix) once a day or twice if in pain.I just take one but if over do it take 2 & doesn't take much to hurt back,gardening,firewood wearing helmet for ages, standing for awhile etc.That's why I got a carbon fiber helmet which helps takes longer before back starts to hum.
    It's a pain in the arse gaving pain in the back😂🤣.

    To be fare, I did not have a problem motorcycling with my disc issue, it was ruptured with bending over to pick up the toilet seat cover. I believe good alignment during riding has little to herniate the disc, it's the severe angles of reaching down or stretches that can make the jelly donut go boom! Watch my second video I ever made, it's the best so far I can explain until this work comp case is done.

    I can confirm the throttle glove snag, if I understood what you said. Got an oh shit moment in a hefty turn when I snagged it while releasing the brake and the bike lurched forward. I was in the very snowflake sensitive A mode. About the back, maybe try one of those 3D plastic mesh seat covers. Motea sells one specifically for the 1050. It improved riding comfort for me considerably, albeit differently, got me rid of ass numbness. What else, there's some greeks who sell a very nice pegs lowering kit, one inch down (cosmo accesories) and of course bar risers. I had some crazy ones from some locals in Freiburg (Voigt MT), 3 cm up and 2cm back and at my height of 1,76, with the low seat, it was just too much, I went back to stock.

    • @GermanJobbies
      @GermanJobbies  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I've snagged it a couple of times now so I might just go for B mode from now on. IT's very easy to snag while blipping down in A. I find the seat less comfortable than the 650 which is a shame coz I love the look of these seats, pretty hard tbh. Might look into as you suggest some kinda mesh or gel thing, How did the risers work with the stock cables etc?
      oh and how is your clutch bite?

    • @ioandragulescu6063
      @ioandragulescu6063 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@GermanJobbies well those massive risers I had, 3+2, were pushing the cables to the max. I like the clutch actually, feels smoother being hydraulic and all, nothing that bothered me. I will say though that on my previous 650, the dealer would always set the bite up high, them having a racing team and all, so I got used to that.

    • @GermanJobbies
      @GermanJobbies  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love the clutch too but just wondering why it bites so high. Are they all like that? 🤔

    • @ioandragulescu6063
      @ioandragulescu6063 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GermanJobbies I honestly don't know. All the bikes I road tested in the past 5 years were from the same dealer and they like them all high. I know my 650 would get a bit lower during the year and when I would pick it up from the dealer (after the yearly service), they would "fix it" again to high and it was always annoying for the first couple of days. I guess the cable was getting a bit loose during the year.

    dont have happen what happened to me. a disk that is yelling, you might want to relax. it took a 7 days from partial herniated disk to full herniated disk that put severe impingement on that nerve and still after 15 months after surgery, i still have not regained 20 percent of my quads to walk normal and to perform my job again. i might never be able to run again and might never do my physical therapy job again. watch your self and learn from others like me...
