Al, my first car bought in 1978 was a Toyota Corona 1700 deLux. I rolled it in November 1979. Laying on my back I pushed the roof up so that I could see and drove home. And there it stood for a year under a tarp. After deciding to repair her I charged the battery, cranked her and drove it to the panel beaters. I regret selling her as she was a Machine! Not quick but as strong and reliable as only a Toyota could be...you wanna sell it?

🙃 You could certainly do that with a '70's Toyota. They're bulletproof. No, she's not for sale... yet. I'm sure I'll have to part with her one day, because I hope to acquire a Toyota 4x4 to go find stories in rougher terrain. But for now, I enjoy the experience of driving. They smell different. Even the crackly old radio with the knob tuner makes me smile.
