Pretty accurate startup sequence. That JFS sound is spot-on. The front ramps of the intakes should drop down almost immediately after the engine starts, though.
Bought this puppy at full price, never looked back and haven't flown a darn thing else since. Even incomplete this thing is a monster of sound capability and smooth handling. It's like flying a rolls royce with nuke compatibility. She even excels at SEAD and she certainly wasn't made for it. Best module to date by far, and to be honest it's not even close.
@@cameronchase4071 I have, it's very good but me and jester get into domestically violent arguments and I got tired of being the one getting his butt kicked. Anywho, I switched to the viper from the tomcat, loved the capability and feel, but it never really matched the flight characteristics of the Turkey. Then this came along and even though it's only half a year old I have flown it exclusively and have darn near forgotten 60% of the start up on the viper 😂.
Beautiful, I do wish we could hear the F15 Actuators Nozzle sounds. I live by a Norad base and when ever they pass over my house I can hear the High Pitch whistle from the Actuators as they are adjusting to land. Its music to my ears.
I pretty much always get DCS modules only when they are on sale. Great as they are, that does not change the fact that they are very expensive. I hope you enjoy the module when you get it!
I did not even take off from the runway, so yes, you are correct. But my aim was obviously not to do a realistic take-off. My aim was to see if I could get it started up - and when I did, I decided to take off as quickly as possible to just try it out, since the engines were running. But the purpose of uploading the video, was to showcase the engine sounds, which is very obvious from the video title. So yes, thank you for pointing out to anyone who might be wondering - please do not take off like this in real life. This is a game, pretty much anything goes, this is not an example of how one should take off, and Mr jdupons is quite correct, this was a terrible, 100% unrealistic take-off. Thanks for letting us know man!
