Ironically I was desperately trying to find the perfect video to show to my girlfriend that guinea pig’s and capybara’s have similarities and I’m glad I came across this video 😂
It's amazing how animals just seem to gravitate toward capybaras. The guinea pigs got out of the way but immediately ran back and got close to him. A number of animals in the wild do that with capybaras. I guess they are the animal Kingdom's chill friend!

@@aliiljah8224 Guinea Pigs are mountain rodents. We don't really have mountain in Brazil. They were domesticated by tribes in the Andes some 5 thousand years ago. And we don't eat guinea pigs in Brazil. At least, it's not a cultural practice, because they aren't native to here.
This is cute and everything, but in retrospect I wish these guinea pigs had more space. Even if the capybara wasn't in there, they are all hudded in a corner and have no places to hide with very little room to run or explore. If these are somebody's pets or it the owner cares about their health and wellness, they need more than double the space, even without the capybara. I know some people don't take animals' needs as seriously, especially some unreputable breeders and pet stores. I can't change anything with this comment, and the video is like 10 years old, but I figured I'd through it into the void. Just some food for thought in case somebody comes wandering along and is bored enough or curious enough to read this. If you like guinea pigs give 'em room. That is all. Have a good day. :)
