- It's summertime, the traditional travel season, so I thought I would give you a short tour of my watercolor travel kit. I've tried to link as many things as I could below. Apologies for the exposure fluctuations! I am not very good at this yet. :)
Enjoy!

Thanks for the video. Those travel artist rolls always look lovely.
You are so welcome! It really is nice. I debated a long time about getting one, but I'm happy I finally did. :)
Twig~ nice t meet you! Thank you. you made useful . 🖐
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
So that metal pallet is gorgeous, can you share where you got it?
It's actually a (sorta vintage?) sewing needle case. It was given to me years ago, but I'm betting something similar is out there now. Even if it is not magnetic, you can get those magnet sheets with adhesive and cut one to size. The tiny pans from Art Toolkit work so well in them. Hope that helps!
@@twigandmoth yes thank you for responding. I love to look for things like that on Etsy but didn’t know what it was called. Really beautiful❤️
Hello! Thank you for sharing your travel art kit. I recently decided to finally go ahead and buy a Sendak and that little metal palette box you said was older is perfect for those narrow pockets. Can I ask where that came from?

Dreaming of owning this artist roll, but do you have any suggestions for someone just starting who wants something a bit more affordable to start drawing/painting?
Hello! Do you mean for the supplies, or something to carry them in? For years I have just used an old canvas pencil case for my travel kit, and for supplies I like the very affordable watercolors from Dick Blick. Also, my most recent video is about some budget watercolor brushes that I am really enjoying. :)
Okay, not my most recent video. The one before that one. lol 🤷♀️
