“My hotel doesn’t have a 13th Floor because of superstition, but c’mon man... People on the 14th floor, you know what floor you’re really on. “What room are you in?” “1401”. “No, you’re not. Jump out of window, you’ll die earlier!” -Mitch Hedberg
Many times, the 13th floor is used for hvac and utilities or maid services and laundry. That way, the general public aren't ever on the 13th floor. Therefore, room 1401 is really on the 14th floor.
This was the guest to literally have your first question be your "Do you believe in ghosts?" Loved this interview cause I also love Halloween, haunted attractions, & the fall🎃🍂
As a Hauted House enthusiast myself, I think it's the anticipation of being scared by something which maximizes fear. We used to send in groups of 4 and then halfway through we'd separate everyone and make them finish one by one.
10:00 Daniel Tosh, once a college kid doing stand up complaining about college, then became a tv sensation on Tosh.0 complaining about culture, now the Tosh show Daniel is a Dad complaining about dad stuff. Brother I’ve been here for it all.❤😂 stand fast! From a fellow Daniel. lol thank you for a long time of amazing jokes!
Get that off my desk!!!! 😂 …I’ve been watching from the start. At first it seemed like the inevitable awkward moment in every show. Now I start laughing as soon as the gifts come out in anticipation of the guest about to be scolded for not moving it right away. There’s this palpable level of discussed that some how is authentic and funny
Brotha, my wife started rewatching that 70’s show a few years back (lol right before that dudes trial actually) but Mitch was in a few of the episodes!! Threw me for a loop I knew the voice instantly had to have her skip it back to make sure
@@ethanskelton9695 I haven't really checked out that 70s show, but now that you're saying it, I vaguely remember hearing he was in a few episodes. I need to check those out. it's a real world example of his, "... can you farm?" bit. Under that context, he can't really miss. If he's great in it, it's just self deprecating Mitch being brilliant again. But if he sucks, the worse he is, the funnier his joke gets. Honestly, good, bad or whatever, it'll be new to me. Good looking out, man.
@@ethanskelton9695 I remember him on the early episodes in the diner talking to Kelso.. he was like I did not lose a leg in Vietnam to serve you and your friends French fries, and Kelso goes but you have both your legs, Mitch goes like I said I DID NOT lose my leg in Vietnam... Lol perfectly his humor
I love when Daniel talks about Malibu (where I went to Pepperdine) and Tahoe (where I lived after school). And his comments about Apple Hill where hilarious because I spent at least 1 day every Fall going up there for apple donuts!!
A. It didn't look like the chain was on. B. Nothing but the box touched the table. I was looking extremely closely because I saw these multiple comments before I got to that part. 😅
I have been a HH actor, crazy clown was my character. People would crumple to ground when they saw the clown. I had no idea how scared people are by the mear sight of clowns
Same! I was a clown and the face of my mask could be pulled off so that plus some fake blood was my shtick. We had to shut things down at one point cause a grown women was sobbing and having a full blown panic attack, had to take my mask off to show her I'm not actually a deranged clown
My last haunted house experience was a condemned school that was torn down the next year. We werent afraid of the performers. We were afraid of the sagging floor collapsing underneath us
Here in the Midwest, we FOR SURE stepped inside homes while we were getting our Halloween candy! Never thought it was crazy til hearing it out loud!!😆 it was a different time..
If you know, you know, but that moment as a kid, you walked into a haunted house and the second you smelt that black trash bag plastic, you just knew you're about to have a good time.
I live in one of the ‘most haunted’ cities. Used to hang out in the cemetery when we were teenagers, still haven’t seen a ghost here, just the first ghost hunter show people. Have been back since Covid and left twice just to be back stuck here again, that’s what’s scary about it.
I miss Tahoe , used to live out there saw tosh at the Mont blue years ago , he crushed us , viciously made fun of the locals and absolutely demolished the women, great memories
Great episode! Recently did Universal Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando(4th yr) Cedar Point Halloweekend, and Kings Island Haunt...nothing better this time of year than haunts and coasters...I also stayed at Myrtles in Louisiana which didn't disappoint! And "YES" I believe in ghosts!
As a fellow ill-addvised chain saw purchaser, thank you Daniel for the great laugh. At least you full Arnold Palmer and bought a gas powered saw. I am not man enough, had to go electric. Gifted mine too my landscaper after years in my garage.
Even with editing, this episode couldn't be made more engaging. It's not unwatchable, he stands out as the least compelling guest Dan has hosted thus far.
I was born on Halloween at 3 am! Shortly after MT St Helens started rumbling! Then after she blew we moved from by there to over by Yellowstone!😅 Apparently they didn't know what Yellowstone is!😂
13th floor cost me 300.00 for two tickets. Regular tickets were 50. For 150.00 you got to skip the line that was a 2.5 hr wait. It lasted around half an hour and was worth every penny.
Reese's is my favorite candy, mostly just cuz I love peanut butter, and they make the best version of it. But I especially like the Reese's Nutrageous bar, which is basically the exact same thing as a Peanut Butter Snickers, except it uses Reese's peanut butter so it tastes like 10x better IMO.
Forever pumpkin is genius. Now I don't have to worry about rotting pumpkinhalfway through the season if it's warm and squirrels eating them after 2 days.
I feel like inviting a paranormal researcher or something to your show would be awesome and you two hash it out over "real" ghosts
The pet communicator kinda counts. That's how Tosh would handle it prolly.
The ghoul boys! @watcherentertainment
Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej, let's make this happen!
Not an interesting topic
Fr not that interesting
That’s exactly why he’s not going to do it. Tosh loves to do the opposite of what the fans want

Exactly, you can lie to them but they know what floor they're really on.
Sometimes they build a tiny floor (extra boards really) and pretend that's the 13th floor
Fuckin Mitch.
Many times, the 13th floor is used for hvac and utilities or maid services and laundry. That way, the general public aren't ever on the 13th floor. Therefore, room 1401 is really on the 14th floor.
Honestly can't tell if Tosh botched the bit on purpose
Mitch probably would have laughed anyway
Daniel's idea of scary is walking through a Macy's and being sprayed with an unpleasant odor...🤣
As if Macy's could even sell anything unpleasant. Nothing but scents of the gods over there.
Just reading tat scared the shit outta me....
Straight out of curb your enthusiasm
31:35-32:00 in the most male to male convo ever lmao! “Then we don’t carve a single one” both of them in confusion

Such a nice gentleman. I love these guests
Introducing himself as 'Dan Tosh' just doesn't sit well with me. Your name is Daniel, damnit! 😅
Is he rage baiting? 🤔 Probably 😏
Tosh is the king of "words hitting the ear at the wrong angle"
His legal name is Daniel Tosh😂@@gypsyHAASy
DAMN DANIEL
I prefer to call him Danielle Tush
I can’t believe Tosh mentioned Apple Hill ❤ nothing says fall in Sacramento like Apple Hill
you mangled that Hedberg joke
Not really
He got the idea but the delivery is the opposite of Tosh
That was rough, I can just hear Mitch's voice "jump out the window, you will die.. earlier!"
Which made it so Tosh. Loved it.
"LONNNNNGGGG N PLUMP AND READY TO PUMP!"
Get that off my desk!!!! 😂

Daniel needs to come out to the midwest and find himself a tractor. Plenty of them out here.
The Hedberg punchline was right enough for anyone who remembers the setup. Either way, just being reminded of him is good for a laugh.

I knew Tosh was awesome but hearing him confirm what I've always believed, that the best thing about Halloween is getting ready for Christmas.

Oh so you rich rich
he was a great guest, really cool and unique insights! thanks dan!
Tosh: Alright, get that off my desk, please.
Haunted House Guy: Drags chainsaw blade across edge of new desk. 30:18
A. It didn't look like the chain was on.
B. Nothing but the box touched the table. I was looking extremely closely because I saw these multiple comments before I got to that part. 😅
It was in the plastic case, which has a plastic sleeve that fits over the bar and chain! No chain hit the desk only hard plastic!
Bless whoever ends up being Daniel’s therapist.

Somehow, “get that off my table” never gets old!!

And every single one you walked into had the exact same smell too
I remember this happening a lot. I lived in Wyoming and it was usually cold, so it was very common.
Always entertaining. Tosh, you the best! The highlight of my week. Thanks to all involved.
If you know, you know, but that moment as a kid, you walked into a haunted house and the second you smelt that black trash bag plastic, you just knew you're about to have a good time.
Got to be the most random interview, but really interesting. I wasn't expecting to be interested in haunted house management
I put out an empty bowl with a sign that says “please take one” so it looks like we got hit by bratty kids already.
hahaha, so sneaky!
D.t. deserves to be in a Horror movie for that spooky jump he did.. nailed it!
Tosh going to Apple Hill is the highlight of my day
My daughter gives out full bars. She brags about it too!!! Lol
She's earned that right
It's actually not doing the kids any favors, a hundred mini bars is already way too much.
Tosh so humble he didn't even mention the new, beautiful desk.
Punchline is “you will die earlier” Shoutout to you for the Mitch reference. Top tier comics in my book… Hedberg and Tosh

It's so adorable glow seemingly innocent Tosh is when it comes to Halloween! 🎃
I had so much fun working in Haunted Houses......Love scaring people.
Eddie’s laugh is so “hehe” 🤣🤣👏🏽
Total Action Bronson of Haunted Houses
A Craftsmen chainsaw as a gift? That’s a legit nice gift!
Shout out, Mitch Hedberg! Thank you, Daniel, always been one of my faves
“I turn the lights off at our house.” 😂 thank you Daniel.

37:29 Eddie and Carl are surprisingly in sync here.
No, you did not do the joke right hahaha Mitch was a legend though, stoked you brought it up!
Eddy should have sold his soul to the devil for a deep, booming voice instead 😅
This apple orchard rant is pure gold
Lmao grew up living and working in Apple Hill and never heard a more accurate description
Tosh Show videos are the only videos on TH-cam that I slow down to 1x
1:44 I live about 5 minutes from underwood family farms and I still won’t go
Me too. Its an exercise in zen through chaos.
We go during strawberry season, much less hectic.
Best line of pod “you can’t live in Tahoe and vacation in Sacramento it’s absurd” I live in Sacramento who the fuck would wanna vacation here lol 😂
"Happy Husband, life is more fun!" Not perfect, but close enough for me! ;)
I'm afraid of the dark and Grizzly bears! Oh ya and horror or any scary movie ! And That was again FUN! love Eddie as much as Danny boy !
Daniel should just go ahead and rename the show “Get that off my desk, please”. 😂
I love Halloween and haunted houses, grew up watching scary movies
Thank goodness we're back on track!
Best desk in the podcast game
Learn something every time. Never thought about the flag as other than just an old national flag.
His clarification of startled vs scared made me think about nathan fielders haunted house
Daniel “get that off my desk” Tosh
Carl is almost one of my favorite dogs. He's so chill, but the eating poop thing disqualifies him.
Your hair always looks great but this episode it is on point, coming from a bald guy means next to nothing but I’ll live vicariously through you
13:17 Michael Jackson appears
That's ignorant!
That desk goes beautifully with the border 😃
Hey I think That's The Guy who sold me some bad speakers once.
did he claim he was from a warehouse in Milford CT ?
Sounds scary.
Get that off my desk** 😂😂 never fails

"I don't want to feel moisture ever in a dark room." His poor wife.
Tosh had me so excited when he mentioned Mitch and then he just mutilated that joke 😂
They should record like on rollercoasters!!!!
Those little knives carve pumpkins better than a kitchen knife. If there is something better, please let me know!
I like the part when he said I own 11 tractors... they're red. I forget the name of who makes them😂
Farmall?
He seemed embarrassed to admit they weren't John Deere or American-made.
@@esepajaronegro probably more like Mahindra
That shirt Tosh be wearing right now makes me crave Dippin Dots like a prego.
Tosh mentioned not liking Disney adults, which I completely agree with, what I absolutely hate just as much are Harry Potter adults.
The only acceptable wetness from a haunted house is me pissing my own pants in fear. Second is my party/group doing the same thing.
After asking every single guest, Tosh almost forgot to ask the most appropriate guest of all if they believed in ghosts!!!! 🤣
Yo Daniel, would you ever host SNL? I feel like you’d kill it!
I feel like this is Daniel's therapy.
I wanna see a Santa Clause Expert in a couple months
Scariest experience ever. Not being able to find a porta potty when out on a walk and you shit your pants instead. Happens every time

OK, I didn't go and that was lovely. Sums up my life...
His southern accent grows stronger by the day.
"Happy spouse, happy house!"
Dan Tosh: "I like to be as dry as apple pie."
The best time to buy at Spirit Holloween is a day or two after Holloween. Save $$$$!!
To me the mini candies taste better than the whole ones
I LOVE Apple Hill, that's been a Sacramento Area institution for decades
