Yes, old furniture! My mom and dad have had an experience like this with an antique mirror they purchased. My mom started having nightmares and finally told my dad she thought it was the mirror! My dad went and had a conversation with the mirror and told the spirit attached to it that they were gonna love the mirror and take care of it, and essentially said the spirit needed to back off and relax, and the dreams/haunting stopped! They still have the mirror and nothing else has happened since.
I have an old antique mirror that has to be over 60 years old. It's huge with a guilt wood frame. My neighbor across the street was selling it. It was at her grandmother's house and had been all her life until it was given to her.
I do not like mirrors. For a good 8 years the only mirror I had in my house was the small one in the bathroom and I like it that way. But, this mirror kept grabbing my attention. I knew KNEW it was my mirror. So, I bought it. It sits in my room against the wall.
My apartment had issues with mischief going on and the occasional heaviness but nothing extreme. There were darker than dark shadows that liked to move around at night. But when I got that mirror things changed. The mischief all but stopped. Everything calmed. The mirror tells me, "Don't worry. I got this." All I have to do is keep it's surface dust free and my house is just... blessed.

The simplest ingredient for protection is salt. I've always put a circle around my entire house and even across my gate way with charms buried by the posts. Not just for spiritual reasons but to keep negative people away or soften their intentions. Even the living bring baggage sometimes. I've also found while dogs will tell you something is off, cats keep things away.
What a wonderful practice!

I have a very old table that my parents bought at a barn sale of a local rural doctor. It is an antique birthing table, complete with stirrups. From the Civil War Era I was only 6 when they bought it, they gave it to me at 18 years, and I am now 60. It carries a protective energy with it, and always has. I believe it somehow collected and retained a lot of "mother" energy, that feels like a warm safe hug.

I think what some people forget is that when you are in the midst of something, it can be very hard to see what is happening, or even realise it IS happening until it is to late, but at the end of the day it is how you deal with it once you are aware that makes the difference.

No witch knows it all. You had never had to deal with this kind of thing before. Now that you have , you learned what to do. There’s a reason it is called a “practice”. We are constantly learning and growing. It was great that Olivia knew what to do and I’m sure she learned some things from you as well.

I bring things home all the time and haven't ever really done any cleansing and have never had any issues. I will say, however, that I never buy things home I haven't touched and thought about for at least a few minutes. Sometimes I will see an object I like, pick it up and have a feelikg of nausea. I never buy those items. One thing i also do yhat may help (I honestly dont know this is all intuitive) is I thank the item for serving us and bringing joy akd Beauty to the space.
As for cleansing I would think a basic smoke cleansing or sound cleansing in conjunction of an occasional simmer pot all day full of clove and rosemary. But yes a video on this would be cool!

A Christian watching Witchy stuff! You remind me of a Catholic girl I shared a house with back in Uni, she was lovely and you instantly reminded me of her. So different from the twisted, judgemental, negativity of the 'Bible bashing' fundamentalists. Thanks for reminding me that not all Christians are like that. Love, light and life to you.
I was wondering what would have happened if they had put a Christ (and Mary)statue on the table with a candle and asked/prayed for protection. I always ask for Christ guidance/protection in meditation. I believe there is real power there. ❤️

A handful of years ago I was living with my boyfriend at his father's house. His father's girlfriend collected haunted items and kept them in the basement next to our room. We experienced so many things including what seemed to be a watcher spirit. It was a terrifying experience but eventually I moved out and luckily nothing followed me

Spirits have been around me since I was a child. If any of them do anything I don't like, I let them know it right then and there. It's worked every time. Thankfully. I'm glad it worked out well for you and your partner, Annie. Talk about a learning experience!

I do the same. Say it out loud. Use a strong assertive voice and a brave attitude. I may invoke something to protect myself like say out loud that I am bathed in the white light of (something or someone that feels safe and authoritative) Love and Protection, or Jesus or whatever. And the then I say out loud that "you/all those present are NOT welcome here! This is MY home and you are uninvited. Leave now from here. Go to the light of the other side and be lost no more." Or simply " This is MY home. This is not your place to reside. I banish you from this place now and forever. " this usually does the trick. If it felt extra unnerving, open all your windows, sage every corner, wall, closet, room....from back to the front of house and out your door. Close it. Sweep and mop from back to front then out the front door again. Close your windows and bless/charm your windows, doors, and house with protection. Your attitude and mind set is most important. Take no ish from Noone in YOUR home including unwelcome or uninvited spirits 💪💪💪
Sorry I didn't get notifications of the replys until today. I say the following things out loud and quite loudly. "Stop that". "Get out." "You're not welcome." "Bless you." "Be on your way." You have to be in charge not it or them.
I am so thankful that I have a very intense natural sense about old objects and home. I can always tell if there is a negative aura about things. Usually when I'm in an antique store, there will be at least one item that just gives me the creeps. I put this down to having had my own EXTREME haunting experience when I was a child. My family lived for 11 months in a very haunted house that had a very malicious spirit in it that was so noisy that we initially thought that we had a squatter hiding somewhere. One thing I distinctly remember was the constant nightmares I had about dark shadowy figures standing at my bedroom window staring at me in bed.
Thank you so much for sharing this experience with all of us xxx. When I first dedicated myself to the craft I started seeing 'night visitors' as I called them in my room every night. It wasn't too scary at first but one night I saw a creature at the side of my head that I knew was not from this Earth. That's when I reached out and got help from fellow Witches. I had unknowingly opened myself up completely with being new to the craft so I was like a beacon for spirit to follow and I hadn't learnt how to protect myself properly. Now I have learnt how to protect myself properly. I still see spirit but its when I choose to. One of the best moments of seeing spirit is when I saw my cats cleaning themselves likes they always didn't my front room. They have been passed for years and it was such a beautiful moment to see all of my fur babies together again. Please look after yourself. And thank you again for sharing. Sorry for your losses Helen 🙏Happy you got to see them again 😊I lost my oldest fur-baby last year Dec.9,2021 and she has been talking with me through pendulums and just recently just before Christmas, She started talking to me through the kitchen light/ It would start blinking like crazy and i started talking and the blinking stopped till i was finished asking her a question , then started blinking again. I, too, love antiques, but have learned it is wise to cleanse everything I bring into my home or onto my property. Being a bit of an empath, even antique stores themselves are problematic, as the mingled energies of the items make my ears ring. I once bought a clear glass paperweight that I thought would be perfect for scrying. I named her Luna (like your doggo) and placed her on my windowsill at night to collect moon energy. The window is directly above the head of my bed, and that night I had the worst nightmares and woke up with a terrible headache. This continued for several nights until it dawned that Luna may have come in with something. That's always a danger when you don't know something's past history. Apart from waving sage about, I knew nothing of banishing. I did some research and ran across a spell that suggested plunging the object in icy water for a period of time (!!) It sounded weird, but I did it, and it seemed to work, because I've had no trouble with Luna since. (I still can't scry to save myself, though) :)

I find it very odd that there are a lot of folks who practice have this strange "superiority complex" and like to minimize others (maybe it's due to their ego?). Given the amount of persecution and marginalization of practitioners throughout history you would think there would be more "community spirit" - acceptance, support, openness, and good will. Thank you for sharing your experience, it's a very good cautionary tale but also hopeful one.
@Gayle (GLB) I think the lack of older witches (boomer or younger gen x) is down to the same "coming out" reluctance as many in LGBT of the same generations. Gen Y and millennial have the benefit of growing up in more "open" times as well as social media being the norm from very young ages. The way of engaging in practice is the same though. I wonder if maybe more in the older generation practice wicca than younger gen? I personally didn't find any value in it.
I have found an older witch (search Mystery Witch School), she's an Aussie, but her format is a little different in that it is conveyance of information. She follows the wicca practice but while she does talk a little about wiccan practice & meanings she does make it clear that whatever your practice is just as good and take from it what you will. Generally I prefer The Witches Cookery, Witch of Wonderlust, and The Green Witch as I like the format, content and feel.
Agree. I also buy antiques and I've never even considered that there could be an entity attached to something I've brought into my home. Lots of judgy, self righteous people making comments on TH-cam.
I appreciate that you shared what you did to rid your home of all that bad energy. I struggle with clutter and know it’s bad for the home. So this encouraged me to go back and keep clearing it all out.
When you mentioned old piece of furniture it freaked me out. I used to love thrift stores before they become “cool”. My family and I would go to Goodwill and often pick up furniture etc. one day my sister brought home a dresser . She was married and lived with her husband and kids. Like you she had terrible nightmares and was so scared of that particular room. She was like a person haunted. Once they figured out it was the dresser and got rid of it, it went away. Since then I never buy used furniture. Especially ones that look very old. I’d love to buy thrifted furniture, but I just never want to take the risk of bringing something home that would harm me or my family. So I stick mostly to clothes only 😅.
In my opinion you should pray 🙏 a lot. And bless your 🎄🎄🌹🌹🏘️🌳🌳🌻🌻home with holy water 💦💦 and burn white candles 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️. You never know?? Maybe even clothes 🎽👖👕👗👠👠👡👡🥿🥿👞👞or shoes can have something attached to them??
It's stories like these that reinforce my wariness of purchasing anything from antique stores. I love old things, especially books but, I will leave a book where it sits if it feels off. Such a fascinating story. I was riveted when you shared it a year ago and thank you for sharing it again.

Same, I think of her whenever I'm in antique stores, lol. I recently got an old teacup and thought of her but for the opposite reason (the teacup has a really warm, fond, comforting energy). But I always think about what she went through when interacting with old objects.

@@butterflymuse2707 Sometimes things will attack to objects, or sometimes and I believe this fully, sometimes people can put varying energies into things when they have them or when they make them, rather get an object that has an energy that makes me feel nice rather than one that makes me unsettled
I realize this is an older video, but had to watch anyway. I have never been able to walk into an antique place even long before I knew I was an energy worker - and while a practicing Christian. I find your story fascinating. I've learned a lot from your experience. The one take away I really gleamed from this as an ex-Christian deconstructing from indoctrination is that you, your GF, and dog were never physically harmed or spiritually harmed, just put off by the nightmares and general creepy feeling in the space and scaring you sh*tless. I'm not trying to downplay your experience at all. I am merely saying I found that comforting because I'm terrified of spirits/the unseen because of my Christian upbringing that was focused a little too much on the power of the devil and his demons. I'm working on this mindset, but it takes time! So I find a strange comfort in your story. Very happy you shared all this with us. Glad everything worked out for you and HOORAY for Olivia who came to your rescue. I watch her YT channel as well :) Yes, I've learned early on to always pay attention to the behaviors of fur babies. If you still feel those creepy eyes, I always like to use Solomon’s seal and/or bend over oil as part of my banishing rituals to bind the spirit and keep it from ever returning/affecting me or my loved ones.
If a spirit is attached to something, I will also unbind it (kinda like cord cutting) from the object, person, etc. If it’s hard to kick a spirit out of a space, an unbinding can help there too.
I really like to use Betony, blackthorn, mullein, agrimony, vervain, dragon’s blood, elderberries, rue, hyssop, etc. along with banishing oil and a black spell candle when I do banishing rituals. (I like to incorporate mandrake too but I keep it nearby in a container rather than mixing it in with the other ingredients since it’s poisonous and I don’t want it to cause issues for animals or anything when I dispose of my spell remnants.) Even with those small chime candles, it’s never taken more than a couple of banishings to get rid of problematic spirits. I also like to use dark moon water too.
Way back when I was an evangelical, I had a birthday sleepover with 7-8 girls over and a friend that was dabbling in witchcraft at the time was wearing a necklace she had just bought that we believe had a spirit attachment. Sooo many crazy things happened that night that we don’t talk about to this day except with each other, and it’s been 20 years. Lights turning off repeatedly, music turning on by itself (when the radio was turned off), doors closing, and I effing kid you not, we watched an earring fly from the door (it was in another room sitting on a counter, no idea how it got through a closed door), curve into the middle of the circle we were sitting in, and fall right into my cousin’s lap right after she said “oh no where is my earring?” For months afterwards the air felt hostile thick enough to cut with a knife. Evangelicals don’t really believe in that stuff and so my mom was unsuccessful in getting a pastor out to our house to try to deal with it; but for months afterwards the bed would shake really fast when you were trying to fall asleep. I like to think the “when I call on Jesus” music we had playing 24/7 for months on end finally just annoyed the spirit to the point it finally left😂😂😂
But this is the kind of stuff I actually really enjoy in my practice now and at this point it’s pretty hard for me to get spooked. But then again, alot of that probably has to do with the fact that my spirit allies (Nyx, Hecate, Artemis, Gaia, several Goetian spirits I work with, et. al.) are so consistent in showing up for me when I call on their help, unlike sky daddy😂
Wow. Your experience (and stories of others) is the main reason why I'm afraid to go into my local antique store. I'd see something old and awesome, buy it, and the first time my cats stared at nothing, I'd freak myself out. Glad you got rid of your unwanted guest. (Give extra kisses to your furbabes from all of us.😁)

I was given 2 glasses that were made of ruby glass. They were beautiful! As soon as they came in my house, activity started. Voices, heavy feeling, feeling like someone was watching me, etc. My kids and I were having nightmares and then something would open their closet. This was over a course of days. I realized it was those glasses, so I put them in a bag and gave them to an antiques dealer. I was honest about them and she said it was good that I brought them. She took them in a back room. When I got home, what a difference! Whatever was there had gone.
When the audio cut I started to be able to smell really strong coffee… really strange!!! Well done for your determination and thank Gods Olivia was there to lend a hand! Wowza!!!

I can’t believe it’s been a year already. I remember it happening like it was just last week ! When you had to call in the big guns (Olivia) to help with this very trying situation. So glad it was all taken care of and over !
I’m sorry to hear people were being so critical. People need to learn how to be supportive of one another rather than always tearing them down just because they are sitting behind a screen. But thank you for sharing the whole story. I remember watching this last year. I always buy things second hand if I can and love antiques. Yes, I do cleansing and banishing as needed but I didn’t always. It took me time to develop my craft just as everyone else. Every day is a learning experience and I hope your story helps others so they may avoid having to go through it.
I don’t think the people that said “You should have known better” have ever actually been in a situation like yours. It’s very rare to have something like that come in. It doesn’t sound like a “watcher” to me, it sounds like something more sentient. And the more powerful something is the easier it is for it to conceal itself. I had the same thing happen to me with a statue of a cellist I bought at a shrine sale (I live in Japan and many shrines have antique markets once a month or so). I was so excited about it and brought it in and immediately felt something off as soon as it entered my home, but not before. It even tried to intimidate and imitate my house spirit. His name was Jeff and he often watched me cook and enjoyed being in the kitchen and was always very light and very welcome. But the last time I tolerated this new spirit, it stepped into my kitchen LOUDLY while I was preparing my baby’s formula (while she was in the living room alone for a moment) & my gut told me not to acknowledge it, but I made the mistake of saying “I’m not making anything interesting Jeff, just formula” & the moment I spoke I felt it standing right behind me peering over my shoulder like it’s gaze was stabbing through me & in my minds eye I saw what I recognize as Jeff but with HUGE eyes and a mouth that spread over it’s entire face staring into me hungrily, & I turned around to face where I felt it and said “Do not do that again. You are in MY house and I do not like that.” & I noticed it following me around after that constantly and so I decided I didn’t have the energy to deal with it and the statue wasn’t worth it so I put it outside and put it up for sale for free on my local ghost hunters Facebook page lol But my point being, entities like this have a way of making you obsess over something and lose your sense of caution. Don’t let people make you feel less than for falling for something that we literally all fall for. It’s not just you and honestly it happens to everyone I know occasionally and I have a LOT of friends that practice 😂 We all bring things in sometimes without noticing it ❤️

Great info re: the necessity for protection magick. My house is furnished with antique/vintage furniture/dishes/collectibles. I've always chosen these things because they are better made, more interesting, and cheaper than modern stuff (snort - I can pretty much count the "new stuff" in my house on one hand). As a historian, I'm drawn to old things and am lucky enough to be able to intuitively sense a thing's essence when seeing it for the first time. But, there's always a first time - and I've been very lucky so far re: not being drawn into/fooled by something potentially negative. This vid reminds me that i need to pay far better attention to cleansing before introducing newly acquired stuff into my home. My very old house has an active Genius Loci that provides protection and forcefully kicks out anything negative that might come in (she's a wonderful bulldog), but I need to stop relying on her so heavily and step up/take up some of the burden in that regard. I've been reading The Witch's Shield by Christopher Penczak because I've been feeling called to this area of spirituality.
Hearing your story reminds me of my own haunting, when something really cruel had attached itself to me. Everything you describe, the nightmares, feeling watched, the mocking. It's so terrifying when you're in it and I'm so glad you found a way out. I was very fortunate to have a friend who connected me to someone who could help. I dread to think about what would have happened to me had she not been in my life.
Nearly everything I own comes from second hand shops I love thrift shopping just love old and pre loved things. One of my biggest tricks is before buying it I take a sec to feel it energy. My wards are i have a eye opener charm in my car to exspose negativity and when I get them home a cleanse everything. Plants can be great n powerful protectors of ur home n bad energys u can ask one that's booming or ask a cactus. I'm so bad I have so many inside n out love me some succulents n cactuses and ferns and veg's and flowers etc etc lol love ur channel and ur vibe.
I have so much used furniture lol 😂 I probably inadvertently brought some attachments into my home that way. I pray for and bless my furniture as I polish it or clean it, and use white sage. My dad used a Catholic priest for a house blessing when he moved into this house.
I believe I have experienced these spirits in my grandparents home. When I was 4 I could see them watching me from the hallway, but stopped seeing them when I got older. However, when both of my grandparents had died and we were cleaning out their home (I was 13) I looked up and in the doorway where I always saw it, there it stood. I hope that the family that bought the house afterward never had to see or feel them.
I got goosebumps hearing about your experience with a spirit, that's the main reason I don't mess with them. I don't want to disturb a spirit or to make it angry, if anything like that happened to me I'd freak out big time and I wouldn't know what to do. I'm only just beginning my journey so I'm watching a lot of videos and doing research to see what I connect with, but spirits is not one I'll be touching... Hopefully nothing like this happens 😨
I have a cast iron cauldron that I from an antique store that came with a small silver bell. I brought them home and cleansed them with Frankincense smoke and Florida water before physically cleaning them and restoring them. It was a long two full days. I placed them both underneath the altar cabinet to store before going to bed. I woke up the next morning and the cauldron was in the middle of my living room floor with the bell directly inside of the cauldron. I put them away and went on with my day. I left to go to work and I came home and once again the cauldron was in the middle of the floor with the bell inside. I dug a large pit, placed both cauldron and bell inside the Earth, placed large amounts of Salt and Black salt and ingredients for a witchs bottle and buried them. With large stones, I placed a banishment symbol on the top of the dirt. After 7 days of continuously cleasning the house and small property, I dug up the cauldron and bell and cleasned them both again. Like new and have had nothing wrong in over a year (August 2021)
I wonder if the cauldron's spirit owner/resident was trying to say 'Lets play, I'm here ready for us to do some work'? As you mention no bad vibes from it, it may have been a powerful ally come into your life for that very reason. But 'what if's' are a bit of a bugga. Damn fine way to cleanse it though :)

My husband and I are both practitioners and lucid dreaming and astral projection are some of our abilities. Our dreams frequently align, and sometimes we intentionally meet each other in our dreams ✨. So when new Spirits come around, this is typically how they introduce themselves to us. We’ve certainly met some Spirits that could have been dangerous (won’t tell us their names, etc.), but very luckily for us, we’ve always been able to cleanse and banish any perceived threats. And what is admirable is your obvious delving into the information that you needed so that you could deal with it yourself in the future. Kudos to you and thank you for the refresher of the event. You have an incredibly soothing voice. My partner and I moved into a new home in 2019 and I was in a new chapter, I was leaving a crippling addiction behind and (this story is very long so this is the ULTRA condensed version) I was a NON BELIEVER at the time...now I know that I was trying to leave darkness behind me and I don't know if it was a combination of the house and my state or what but slowly but surely something demonic started assaulting me in ways I can t talk about here. Repeatedly, physically and mentally torturing me. We had to flee and truly had no where else to go do in the end I had to face it. On the last day of this after returning to the house on the worst day of this oppression, it was as if it was taking me over and suddenly a soft tender voice came to my left ear and said "PRAY", and I did...with all my honesty and all I had and it saved my life. The shape and feeling of the room "loosened" and this lovely almost pink warm light encircled me. I was very close to ending it all. It's been a few years now and I will NEVER be the same...for better. I pray all day everyday. I don't allow evil in my life the way I used to
I think about how EVERYTHING I do has a ripple effect on everyone and every living thing. Something is open in me now and I'm sensitive to the spiritual realm but I feel safe. I pray for light, peace, clarity, and safety for all who read this. God be with you all:)

Soft pink light...? I've been in the realm of those beings. Wound up there on my first DMT trip. They're absolutely lovely. Magnificently powerful, but overflowing with goodness and pure love. They called me 'little baby' and told me I am safe, loved, and protected.
If you're protected by one of them, you have nothing to fear.
I’m very late but thank you for sharing. I think some people are used to dealing with hauntings and interactions with spirits (like me) and they fail to remember that this is not the case for everyone.
That first hard core haunting tends to catch people unawares and those who were judging you harshly probably have forgotten what their first time was like. It’s a learning experience and different solutions work for different beings.

It may be nothing, but as I was watching I saw the plant moving and then something swipe strangely past the screen in the lower left hand corner at 17:13 it caught my eye. Sometimes I wonder if spirits are present during talking about the stories.

I've been waiting for this video. Perfect for Halloween. Are you now much more well versed in dealing with spirits, both malevolent or benevolent? Lastly, I can't believe it's been nearly a whole year...damn.
one thing I like to do is get small bottles from the hobby/craft store. I fill them with protective items. stones herbs and oils. if in an apartment I put them in the 4 corners of the apartment. if in a house bury them at the 4 corners of the house. and that helps add a layer of protection. I look at protection like an onion. its best to have layers of protection. at my house I have stuff at the 4 corners of the property and at the 4 corners of the house. I also have wind chimes. then when ever I feel it needs to be done I use various items whether it be salt, herbs or protective oils to circle the house. be mindful salt hurts plants so dont use it if your worried about plants. this last time I made a tea of protective plants and put it in a spray bottle and literally sprayed the house with it. going around in a banishing circle. I also have a witch bottle set up. you can do a witch bottle in an apt but make sure you put the bottle near the door as close as you can and have the bottle in like a plastic bucket in case the glass breaks.
I also have bind runes on parchment all around my home on the outer walls. and I have a ward on the house and property. Yes I am very thorough. Many lessons learned the hard way is all I will say about that. lol you can also use tassels or mirrors. I have taken large mirrored sequins and made a chain of them and hung it near windows as well. and yes bells. I have them on every door going outside. then I do regular cleansing of the house to keep the energy fresh . and lastly always remember the power of Music! I like to play Tibetan Monk throat singing when the house is so heavy I feel like I cant even get up and do anything. I start with the Monk music, then I will feel good enough to light a stick of incense (any kind). then I build on that momentum and get a candle going. then eventually sage. and on and on until I am in a full house cleansing ritual!

This story is so spooky! I remember this when it was going on. Terrifying stuff,and I'm so glad you got help and the two of you gave that entity the boot! A friend of mine had some scary disturbances happening in her house,so we did several different things. One of which I believe is what Olivia had done with you. I haven't heard anything else about any issues, so I hope we kicked it out. It's a very unnerving feeling to think something is watching!

Also, the soul or spirit was legitimately teasing you with the cinnamon stick. From my experience, typically a spirit is more likely to move things, have them disappear and reappear (often where you already looked), or things like objects randomly falling or dropping.
I had a similar thing happen with a piece of second hand furniture. The nightmares and how the energy of the room changed. I was going to be moving, so I gave it away and warned the person who I gave it to about my experiences. Thank you for sharing the whole story. Enjoyed hearing the positive outcome!

I place a small jar of water near my bed to clarify dreams and the space.
I recently moved into a new house.
And it's wonderful. The only weird thing was looking out the backyard at any time of day, I got this creepy feeling that someone was watching me with bad intentions.
I kept getting this feeling occasionally and even felt as though the upstairs towel cupboard that faces that same direction (looks like a door to outside but is on the second floor) was also a spiritual doorway.
I put protective crystals in there. And made small jars of black salt to put on each and every doorway/ windowsill. And all was well. Until my parents came to visit, and I hid all my witchy stuff because they think its evil.
I totally forgot to put back the black salt jars. It was probably a month before I remembered the jars, and during this time, we had a strange infestation of flies. One morning, I woke up to find almost 30 flies on the doors wanting to get out. I opened the door, went upstairs, came back down and there was another 30 (I counted) on both doors. I was puzzled! I counted about 80 flies that morning and later it occurred again the garage with fruit flies.
Then, one night I had a terrible dream of a serial killer, from his perspective murdering a girl in the most disturbing and gruesome way possible. And it felt as though it went for ever and he was making me watch it (i saw from his first person perspective, as his cut a girl up with a small knife and saw it all in the mirror- she screamed the whole time).
When I woke up, i was disgusted. I saged my entire house and put the black salt jars back out and asked my angels to protect the place.
Then i got a message from my angels or the urge to go to the garage, light a candle and tell the spirit that he should leave into the light because the angels wanted to help him.
I had tried to banish him but it wasnt working, and got the impression that like the flies desperately wanted to get outisde the house, so did he wish to be free from limbo that he was attached to through the action of killing that girl. And so i felt my angels tell me he had learnt his lesson by being stuck here for a long time, and they wished to help his lost soul. So I stood there and explained to him that its not scary moving into the light and (he was scared of eternal hell- must of lived around the 70s or 80s) and I managed to convince him the angels could be trusted and on the other side is unconditional love. So he walked into the light and was helped via my candle I had lit. I was really mad though, didn't want to do it because I saw him murdering in great detail. But now I look back, I think it was a cry for help and he wanted to confess his sin to someone. And that someone was me. Anyway, hes gone. Nothing strange has happened since.
You shared this experience so eloquently for something so unsettling! I really appreciate you talking about this topic, I feel like experiences with this type of energy isn't talked about as much and how to go about protecting yourself, loved ones and banishing it. I haven't had this large of a situation occur but twice in my craft I've needed to hone in on my abilities to rid something negative away and it can be scary but powerful. I would love to see a video on ways to banish energy, protect a home, and incorporate runes!

Yep, this is exactly how my haunting began as a teenager.
It is a genuinely horrifying experience.
I'm now FAR better equipped and have friends extreamly powerful and definitely equipped to deal with any future hauntings.
Earth bound spirit's are truly a tragic thing and definitely need to be moved on into the light so their silver chords sever properly and they will be greatfull in the end that they were move back to Source where they are loved and ALWAYS WELCOMED HOME.
Dark Energies can be tricky.

I had over a year of havoc with spirits after my ex, spouse at the time, returned from Afghanistan and portals opened at our home, first in our second bathroom outside the house however attached, you could literally hear and feel the wind blowing out the portals, I got it closed, then another opened in the back porch area...it was horrible. It took over a year to finally close the portals and have peace. Obviously, spirits from Afghanistan who were killed attached themselves to my spouse and OMG.

I think one of the most fascinating parts of this story is that it almost seemed like the "table" (or whatever was attached to it) sought you out in the first place. Incredible story. Wow, what a scary incident to have happen! And what a learning experience. For these kinds of things, I wear holy basil neckbeads, constantly, around my neck. When I was haunted by a freaky thing in a nightmare and woke up once with a heavy feeling like a person on my chest, I recited a lot of ancient Vedic prayers and saintly person's names. That helped the haunting weight to go, but it didn't go right away. So scary! Ever since then, I'm more careful. I'm glad you learned from your haunting and are OK!

I have certain gifts, doors of perception, and have been spoken to twice in my entire lifetime by two people who have long passed. And you appear to me as someone who has lived before in the 1920s.
I had the opposite experience once. My husband and I were browsing in an antique store and I walked past an old sewing table. It felt like the old lady who owned it was smiling at me and telling me to take it. I couldn't leave without it and my husband knew better than to ask why I had to have it. I took it home, cleaned it up and did a new lining inside; still have it more than 20yrs later. It was like the previous owner had picked me to have it.
How is this a year already? One of the great things about the internet is that everyone always knows better than you and will tell you uninvited how they would have done everything perfectly. But for us mere humans, this is a great story about recognising when something isn't going right and doing something about it. Thanks for sharing.

I just found your channel today which I find interesting since tomorrow is Samhain. My heart always makes a little jump when I see the next generation of witches stepping into to their power. Being a witch is a life long journey of growing and learning. The “mistakes” you made directed you to have some groundbreaking magical experiences. As uncomfortable as this experience was, it served many wonderful purposes. It gave you your first experience working with another witch. It challenged and made you stretch your magical muscles. And, most importantly, it gave you an experience to share with others. Many of our kind feel foolish and alone in situations such as yours. I haven’t watched you in a couple of years and I have to say, your energy is looking much better. When you were living in the city, it appeared like your life force was draining.
Soooo - I have a Tibetan Buddhist written mantra that I’ve used to banish a ghost from my father in laws bed room. I would be happy to send this to you if you have a PO Box or something.
The nice thing about this mantra is it is a kindness to the ghost as well as everyone. It is said to remove loads of karma from whoever gazes upon it. So it is a compassionate approach and I’ve had very good results. It’s one of those - it can’t hurt and it might help…
I bought a dresser for my son and a radio playing faintly kept being heard around it/we had the paint striped off it and I ghost busted it and that stopped the creepiness/I still have that dresser and forgot all about it till now/lol
New items especially used: 1. Clean the piece very well. If the cleaner you are using has an ingredient for clearing, even better. 2. Cleanse with smoke/salt/whatever you got. 3. Clean the area where it's going to rest.
I've come back to rewatch this as I love a good creepy story. However, this is such a good lesson. After I watched this the first time I have since NEVER brought another piece of furniture into my house without cleansing it first.

Reading these comments and following this story has helped me a lot! I live on a farm that has been around since the 1700's I actually have two graves no more than 10 feet away from my house. Thankfully the spirits here are welcoming and nice, they visit my sister in her dreams and have been present to her since she was a child. However, my mother and I love antique furniture. All the furniture in our house is from antique shops or estate sales. I never thought about furniture carrying things with it, but now I know I will be prepared.
It’s interesting that the antique shop had the table hidden away in the back under stuff. A beautiful pied like that would normally be on display. Kinda makes you wonder if they felt it’s negative energy as well.
Ive only watched half this video so far so you may end up saying this later in the video but I think this was a blessing in disguise from the universe for the following reasons:
1. It taught you how your own moods and thoughts can affect what you attract into your life
2. It got you that beautiful table which you still enjoy safely today
3. It forced you to learn about an aspect of witchcraft that you and many others avoid but don’t need to (I’ve been studying that for several months now myself, in part because of watching the original videos with you and Olivia and it’s banishment - fyi, Consorting with Spirits is a great book!),
4. You have a stronger bond with a fellow witch (Olivia) , and lastly
5. You were able to teach all your followers something important that is needed.
You may not realize this but nothing can actually hurt you if you tell it to leave and have confidence. We are more powerful than you know. Hopefully you learned this as well.

Thank you for the story this reminded me of a time I was staying at my friends house and she had had a couple of recent experiences with her abuser haunting her and he actually made an appearance while I was there and I proceeded to smudge the entire house bottom to top and ask the old lady who’s spirit resided there to help my banish him
I just want to say that I started watching your videos, and I love watching your videos. I am a beginner learning herbalism. I'm so sorry you went through this. This situation happened to my mother and I when I was a little girl. My mother got a rocking chair from a thrift store, and she put it in the living room. The living room became haunted. At night, the rocking chair would be moving all by itself. It was so damn scary. I am glad that you are okay.

Omg so creepy. As I was watching, I kept seeing a black n white ox-ish head appearing in the video every time I blinked. It had fierce void eyes. And for some reason I kept staring at the sheer curtains behind you. I also felt heavy but I thought it was a random thing until you mentioned that Olivia referred to it as The Watchers. Upon hearing that I googled it and I saw a lot of ox/wolf drawings that looked scary. That took my breath away but didn’t want to scare myself so I thought it was a coincidence?
I just woke up in the middle of the night from not being able to sleep. It’s 3:13am here , I just heard the word “haunting” in my head , I get on TH-cam and this is in my recommended

having lived in many haunted spaces, and helped a few friends with their own along the way, when you're living in the moment it is Easy to overlook things when its not simply someone's dead auntie trying to find the tea. you're sleep deprived, incredibly stressed and somehow still have to live your daily life with its pesky need for food and water and cleaning up messes. you did a great job given the circumstances.
I wish I'd had you and Olivia at my old house. I had never had a name to put to the malevolent entity that resided there, but Watcher feels appropriate. I wish I had the knowledge and power to banish it from the home as it has since been bought and inhabited by another family. But moving out of that place (and knowing enough to make sure that nothing followed us!) after living there for 13 years was one of the best feelings of my life. The past 4 years have been transformative without that awful presence taking up so much of my attention and causing so much anxiety and fear. I'm so glad Olivia could come and help remove it from your property! I know how terrible it can be to live with such an oppressive force.
I'm so curious to know where you got the inspiration to go to the antique store, and the rest of the story happened. In haunted house cases, like the Conjuring House, I've read book 1 of 3 by Andrea Perron, the eldest daughter, who said when her mother saw it she fell in love with it and had to have it, even the children thought up ways to make the money. Then in the true story, she was the main person terrorized in the house. It's fascinating in those cases, when a person sees a home when they are looking for one, and has to have it, only they find out later when it's haunted was the house called to them to move in. What's so interesting here is that you had an extra step of having an idea first to go to the antique store, where the table was waiting for (you?) and you had to have it. It's creepy because you had not seen the table immediately, something was guiding you to the store, through your desire to go there. That does creep me out, because usually always a good honest desire comes with it divine, good results for a person. Maybe it truly was a learning experience and I'm so happy you found more power, but my gosh how frightening! (BTW, the Conjuring movies are all Hollywood and do not tell the true stories.)
I watched this and I feel very grateful to you for sharing this cause now I feel more sure of what may be wondering on my appartment. I tought it was not very likely cause I dont think new appartments dont have much to hold for spirits but this building I found out it was build where a prison was before so that energy may had attracted an uninvited guest. So I will be researching more but this was very helpful 🍀
