    Man I feel your pain.
I lost my grandmother too before I could say goodbye.
I called the hospital, they told me she was doing good.
Then a short time later my father called me and told me she had passed.
It still haunts me to this day. Then I lost my grandfather six months later.
All we can do now is talk to them like they are still physically here.
You did great with this reaction.

Coast is fast that's why I moved to Eastern Washington...no traffic lights an hours drive in every direction... it's the best thing I ever did. 800-900 most in my little town and loving it. Hang in there, remember the great times and smile. My Dad's been gone for almost 3 yrs and I feel you!!! 🙏❤

This is emotional for me too. I lost my wife Jan 8th, 1991 to cancer. I can still smell her perfume (she loved Opium which was popular in the 1980's and 90's and is still sold) so when I am in a store and smell it, I breakdown....Home Free did this so well, yes Zach Brown was the original but (to me) is now Home Free's song.

This is "that kind of song". I am the great grandmom of 3 beautiful young people, and I live too far away to be able to see them when I'd like. For me...this song brings back memories of my children's father, who drove a semi in the Midwest. He was gone more than he was home, and I ended up losing him to a waitress he met on the road. I think of him every time I hear this. I married again....but he was the love of my life, and I see him in both my sons all the time. Coincidence.....he was born and raised in Colorado.😢 So we're crying together....you and I. But we were both lucky to have had those people in our lives. Love is the only wealth worth attaining. God bless you in the New Year.

That was so beautiful! Have always loved this song when Home Free first did it on the "Sing Off" & then redid it a few years later. But I think this 3rd remake is my favorite version now. I find music & certain songs can often bring back memories & get you in the feels.

Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - they always are! I've loved all their renditions of this song. Three of them are song writers and they each have channel(s) of their own. I think you smell your grandmother's perfume 'cuz she's trying to comfort you in a time of stress - you're fortunate to have those beautiful memories. Never apologize for your emotions - they're what make us human.

A very emotional and moving song as well as your reaction to it. I felt myself chocking up listening to you share what this song means to you. I spent 18 years living in Pierce Co. WA. I know what you mean about the pine trees. I am originally from Kentucky but have not lived there for more than 40 years but so many memories from my childhood are there. I never knew my great grandparents. You were very blessed in that. Now all 4 of my grandparents are gone, both my parents, my one brother and my aunts and uncles. Now I am a Great Grandparent but my grandchildren and great grand children live on the West Coast while I live in Michigan. Sorry for rambling on so. Enjoy your reactions to Home Free. They bring much joy through their music. Looking forward to more reactions.

It has been almost two years since my husband passed. I understand how some songs can break you down. The worst one for me is by the BeeGees 'To Love Somebody.'
HomeFrees song 'What We Ain't Got' tears me apart.
Home Free does a fantastic job on this one you just reacted to.
Is it just me, or do HomeFrees performances seem more meaningful and intense lately? Like they are really coming into their own . More powerful. I'm thinking of 'Stand By Me.'

I’m so sorry to hear about your losses, especially so close together! My mom used to make over 300 Christmas cards every year & was always the first one to buy me flowers for Valentine’s Day & Mother’s Day. When I think about all the wonderful things that she did for everyone it brings tears to my eyes, especially this time of year. We were talking before about your epilepsy medication. What are you taking? I love your reaction to this song (as always).

Im taking clobazam as a anti convultion med and lemictal as my everyday pills plus buspar for the depression, anxiety and stress. Im taking trazedone to sleep, propranelol for a buffer med and many more. I literally carry a small brefcase with all my meds everywhere i go.

@@That90sKidReacts My neurologist was able to switch me to Levetiracetam 1,000 mg & drop my LamoTRIgine down to 200mg because of the side effects. My previous gp thought that the right approach to double up on my meds. (not a good idea). I’m a googler, so I read up on all the side effects & spoke to my pharmacist about everything I was experiencing, including my anxiety level which wasn’t a problem previously. I’m so sorry that all this is happening to you! Sometimes I just feel like hugging my dog & singing along to Home Free songs. I can’t drive or sing because of my anxiety. @@hollyevoy2118 I feel like we all have a some form of understanding of our struggle, the problem lies in the fact that some good days are assumed to be an everyday thing. Even on all my meds i still have days when i cant even pull myself out of bed. Staying awake and dizziness are another problem i have as a side effect of most of my meds. i just wish those who dont have an understanding would take the time to talk to someone dealing with our scenario and try to be a little more respectful to our struggle.
