I had some learning problems(worse) in my childhood. I was struggling to survive at my school. And my mom and dad did applied same theory to me. They always admired me and kept faith on me.
Like a miracle at some point I became very good at learning. So, today I ended up as a civil engineering UG at one of the top 50 universities in the world.

He never even invented the lightbulb. Lightbulb was invented 40 years before him taking credit for the invention. He also ruined Nikola Tesla's life.

Touching story,I hope is not a made up Hollywood story ! But as far as his character Edison stole a lot from others especially from Nikolay Tesla !
He didn't steal anything from Tesla. Tesla worked for him for a few months. They had different idea about how to develop the electrical grid. So Tesla left and started his own company with Westinghouse.
