Something that might also work again Shunny, is Asuza as TA shop student, Asuzas is really good single target, and she uses gloves so there is that
Shunny actually had a meta spot recently in the Binah Grand Assault.
It was more maldy to crit but does damage on par with, or even exceeds, Aru. Which is nice. I got one of the absolute top scores for Binah while using one of my favorite non-meta characters.

Shun actually targets the enemy with highest attack, that's why she only swaps target if someone else is buffed or something is summoned with higher attack than the current target.
When I First Got Shun, I immediately noticed how she Targets The Backline. I immediately thought "Maybe The Ai On This Character Is Smarter"
Now I am curious...is this the reason why people bring Himari in pvp? So that Shun get distracted shooting tanks instead?

The whole argument of "they're a common student, you'll just get spooked by them later!" is always weird to hear, so I'm glad you mentioned that too.
I've been playing for over an year now, and have done 200 pulls on two FES banners, and had to go to 200 on few others as well. And there's still early students that I'm missing, like Biking Shiroko and Small Shun. And there's several others I wouldn't have gotten if I hadn't farmed them from Hard missions or shops.
As an F2P player. I only ever pull during limited banners since those are the only times you can pull for certain characters. Plus there's always the chance you actually do get a common student during those pulls, which is better than no chance at all. And even then you can still farm the elephs of common students. The devs could also add new hard levels with elephs of students that weren't farmable before like with Koharu and Hibiki. All in all it's still far better to just save pyro for limiteds.
It will only get harder to get an off-rate the longer the game goes because of the new students. While there's some coping, you'd honestly only want to pull for students you like and meta either way.
Having a little chance is still way better than having no chance. It's always far better to focus on limited students.

My homie still has no regular Shun to this day so his PvP is always scuffed… it’s quite hilarious lol.

Glad I've got both. Though yeah I haven't actually gotten much use out of little Shun. But Kokona has been absolutely great. Having her and Koharu just makes things a whole lot easier. Getting to pick the right healer for the right job.
Which is good since I really don't have the resources to pull too much right now.

I pulled Kokona the last time and I certainly used her a lot, she's very strong. But still, I'd say, probably don't pull her now, since Koharu is free and guaranteed in the shop, and she can fulfill the Striker Healer requirements easily, while also providing some (although different) utility (breaking purple relic on Hyero, or turning the organ on Greg).
If Kokona's banner wasn't at such a bad point, I'd say to pull, but right now it's only worth, if you have tons of pyros or don't care about meta.
Yeah you really need to save up to 3 sparks or there will be massive brick. Kokona, while strong, IS replaceable, but the upcoming limiteds definitely are NOT replaceable.

Shiroko Swimsuit, causes collossal upheaval in PvP upon release (and also has huge utility in general)
Ui Swimsuit, piercing effectiveness buff (maybe reposition utility)
@@uohhhcunny Koharu is preferred healer for Greg, apart from that, only Hiero needs healer, that's where Kokona is better. But Koharu can replace her for sure, or you can borrow Kokona, if necessary. Keep in mind, that on JP there was no Hiero roughly for more than 9 months already. And in Global it will be at least 6 more months without him. I think it's fair to say, that you won't struggle much w/o Kokona, unless you push Torment maybe.
SHanako is way more important, SUi and SHinata are very strong. There are more good banners not long after. Kokona is permanent and can come on any of them.
Lil shun & Kokonut already spooked me some banners ago so the save for S. Ui continues.

And 2.4k eligma for UE50.
Yeah this is exactly the reason why I'd never get into torment raids...it feels almost exclusively pay to win

Before Moe, I used C. Saya in Chesed. Originally, I was using S. Hifumi. The cost was way too high, so C. Saya was a good solution until Moe that is. I think i used C. Saya in a JFD a while ago. I'd have to check my video archive on that though.
I got her from (painfully) sparking S.Azusa and I still remember how I reacted "what the hell am I gonna do with Kokona!? She isn't the one I want!" But after a while, I ended up using her more than S.Azusa herself.
I wish I could've skipped S.Azusa but if I did...I wouldn't be able to clear Hod Extreme from the S.Wakamo I got and plenty of help by Kokona. I still regret it regardless and will never pull based on my obsession ever again.

The only one from this group that I don't yet have is Kokona. That will change.

Shun is both a curse and a blessing in the pvp mode. The initial cost is quite possibly obligatory to advance into the higher ranks, but at the same time, when she uses her EX skill, I noticed like 80% of the time she will run around like an idiot for a bit, take forever to sit down, and die to nutsuki EX, nyharuna EX, iroha spread shot or even the enemy's own shun before she even takes the first shot, effectively wasting 3 cost
Yup, I've seen that myself. Sometimes I still get a win out of it depending on the student order.
I wanted to get Kokona and I got both I have Aru(if she's meta cause I'm not following meta in BA) too but cunny over meta I'm building Shunny and Kokona cause it's 2 of my fav characters + family

Pulling less than 24k Pyroxene will destroy your account, don't do it until you have 24k or more

You just need to get all the fest students that you don't currently have since they are undoubtedly the strongest students in the game before spending all of your savings, you could stop if you decided to,
And getting some non-fest students is a good addition
Would be lucky if you are able to get all the fest students and have some spare for the next banner afterwards

This is a luck based question, you do roll for characters until 200 rolls coping to get more copy or dupes. If the attempt is fail, buying their eleph is the only option

is kokona replaceable with koharu? both striker healers. Koharu's ex costs 1 more but is aoe
depends on content, kokona have insane single target healing even at 3* (useful on stuff like hiero ins and torment) and can support by reducing ex cost. Koharu is more comfort since she can more easily keep everyone alive, but doesn't provide much else besides healing
Koharu is attack + heal, the only student to do so. Koharu can replace Kokona but Kokona cannot replace Koharu. You can see how incredibly useful she was during gregorius, healing the tank and turning the organ at the same time as well as aoe dmg on the final phase.
Kokona is slightly better at healing and supporting but Koharu is much better at attacking.

Can someone care to explain to me the current banner? Ive checked the BA wiki and it said next banner was Shiroko riding and Azusa and Hanako rerun, why is it in a different order now?
Global rearranges and combines banners sometimes because it is trying to catch up to Japan for worldwide content releases. While that may have been the order in Japan, Global already reran Shiroko/Azusa/Hanako about 4 months ago with Koyuki's release.

@@Schiso13 We're still getting her. There are three different versions of Shiroko: Regular Shiroko reran with Koyuki and Cycling Shiroko ran the week after. The next banner we're getting on the 16th is Kokona/Shunny/Saya and then on the 23rd we're getting Swimsuit Shiroko, along with S.Nonomi and S.Wakamo. You can find this information and other roadmap data on the Blue Archive forums through Nexon.

once you finish the storymode (when the event rerun coms out) youll know. its an enjoyable lore/storymode as well
