Just looked it up and LHDC streams at up to 900 kbit/s, it compresses the data just like any other Bluetooth codec and is comparable to LDAC and aptX.

Got my unit in. I compared both codecs LDAC and LHDC 5.0 on my Edifier Neobuds Pro 2. Using both codecs are very comparable on audio clarity but do notice a higher dynamic range using LHDC 5.0. The sound is much the same as LDAC is from my phone and LHDC is from the dongle but is the same as the dongle is directly connected to my phone. So no sound disparity. Only negative with the dongle is it will only has a few selection of TWS that support LHDC 5.0 but many that support the the previous version from V4 & below.
