Matt, you are really rocking these reviews. I love seeing you grow into this. The SC HX is so nice to play. I have really been enjoying mine as a Chorus Ambassador. People are going to enjoy this one. Paddle of the Year 2025? Keep up the good work, Man! Looking forward to more from you in the New Year! Go Team HX!
The anecdotes are so helpful!! Awesome video editing too. You are my new favorite paddle reviewer. I wish i knew about your database sooner because its the only one with an easy to use filter to compare several paddles.
Oh thanks! I appreciate it! The anecdotes are just that... :) I could change my opinion but enough people have asked how they feel compared to "X" paddle. :)
Very well done in depth review. Cannot believe these are going to be that cheap. I am looking to go from my main of over a year now the Diadem Warrior edge, looking for a little more power and pop. This might just fit the bill. Do you know when the New Blue and Black version is supposed to be released? LOVE that Look !! Keep up the great work. Until next time
@@jetjaguar5198 I'm still building up and I imagine ratings will evolve with the more paddles I play. Looking back, frankly, I'd already change some - so with more context - more thoughts evolve. Look, these are great paddles. :)
Great Video, I love how you compare the paddles to all the most recent releases. I'm back and forth between a Flare Prime X and Saga Flash. I think the Supercourt HX might be just the right fit. I like the Hybrid shape, but the Saga is just a bit too heavy for how much I play and I notice a smaller sweetspot. Flare Prime X is great but the shape is throwing my drives off. Any thoughts?
You can't go wrong with either of these, Flare Prime X and Saga Flash! The Saga was too head-heavy for me until I weighted it up differently. I removed the stock grip, and then ran about 7-9" of magnetic tape (.5gm per inch), from the end camp up on each side. Yes, I added more static weight but the paddle just feels easier to swing now, because the balance point lowered from 24 to 23.3. The SW went up a point and the TW went from 6.6 to 7.1.
@ I never thought to add weight up the handle. I weighted up the flare prime X and now it feels great. I’m going to main this while I wait for the super court! Trying paddles out is half the fun. The SX looks really square and short. Would HX be a big difference from the flare’s standard shape?
@ I think the difference would more be felt in the swing weight and general maneuverability of the paddle given its size and shape. You’re talking about a 14mm vs 16mm paddle.
Hi Matt, I think I read somewhere you mentioned the feel of the Supercourt vs an Alpha 1. Would you mind to elaborate on it again, please? Can't wait to get my SC to try it out, although I am currently in love with my Fire EX!
I thought I read on Discord someone comparing the dwell time and feel of both paddles, and they thought the paddles play quite similar as far as ball feel and response go. Maybe I got the person confused with you. How do you feel about it?
@@jatseng0000 I feel like the Alpha one hits softer until you activate the fiberglass layer. Just bouncing the ball of both paddles, the Alpha 1 is a bit softer than the Supercourt. I'll use the word "crisp" to describe the pop off the Supercourt vs. the Alpha 1. The Alpha 1 feels very similar to me, to the Neonic Flow Prime X. Does that help? Happy to chat with you more about it too! Don't confuse "soft" of "softer" as inferior, I'm strictly talking about feel - but - my numbers show power and pop go to the Supercourt if you care about that sort of thing.
@MattsPickleball thanks for the response! That's plenty helpful. I've been interested in how the Alpha 1 feels since it is kind of an unicorn in its own category with the VP Saga being the closest. I thought I read someone describing SC and Alpha 1 feels similar, but it doesn't sound like it to me so far. I don't think I will be able to buy or play with an Alpha 1 anytime soon, so this is mostly just out of curiosity and doesn't change anything. Thanks again, Matt!
Chorus SC series or 11six24 Power series? And why! It’s between the two for me. I play with a shogun currently. I like the plush feel but not enough power/pop.
If you like the Shogun and definitely need more power and pop without giving up much control, Power Paddles. The way the Power paddles feel, i.e., plusher feeling vs. stiffer feeling, will feel more similar to the Shogun than the Supercourts. But note that the Super aren't stiff, like the Chorus Fire, just stiffer feeling than, for example, the Power line IMO.
Like your original reviews comparing paddles back to back and telling us the difference, more than once when doing that you were wrong in your thought of another paddles character then picked it up and hit it and reported really what the paddle was like. There are no other reviewers back to back hitting all going on their thought of or memory which is usually not telling us anything but as they say there is not a bad paddle out there….

Much appreciated and thanks for the kind words! I agree these are a great value for good performance.

My god these are going to be crazy popular!!!! I don’t need another paddle but these just shot up my wishlist.
The price is insane.

Thank you! Yeah, I don’t know when that alternate color combination is coming out. :)
Excellent review & love the comparisions 👍
If these are an 8.6 what do u consider a 10 or say 9 just so i can compare

Another great content and review Matt on the Supercourt, I might gravitate to the Supercourt HX, due I'm liking the Hybrid shapes atm

Can't wait to try these. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!

How does it compare to the Neonic Flow Prime X, which is also almost the same surface layer layouts? Thanks!
Hi! The pop is close, IMO, but the Supercourt edges it out in power. The sound is also similar, which speaks to its core and surface composition.
@MattsPickleball Thanks!!
@@DheepakJeevaraj You got it!

I think the Supercourt has more power and more pop than Alpha 1, but it's marginal. It's all thanks to both having a fiberglass layer.

Great video! I love my Supercourt SX.
But I’m still missing the rules… maybe if there was a second dink I’d be able to figure them out?
Ha!! Nope, one dink. Haha!
For spin - HX or 11six24 Vapor?
HX is HIGH on spin. I haven’t run numbers on the Vapor Power yet but anecdotally I’d be it’s high as well due to good dwell time.

Yeah I like that too, it’s just way more difficult to find court time now that it’s winter. :( I do have a play test video coming out soon!
Does this guy sleep???
6 hours a night! There's always time in the day, just have to find it! :)
