Nice review @MattsPickleball and right on point. I have been using it for about 8 hours or so and while nothing great jumps out, nothing bad jumps out either which is a good thing in my opinion. Sometimes the need for the greatest over shadows what could be the better option in one's hands. I didn't have to think too much using this paddle, but like another commenter, I did add about 1.5 grams of weight on each side at around the 2 and 10 positions. It seems to have increased the power a bit without any sacrifice but the jury is still out on that one! Keep up the excellent reviews!
I wanted slightly more pop and power from my j2k so I got the invader. It was a seamless transition. Next paddle, I’m try something with even more power
Good review! I have to agree, the paddle definitely feels all court without any one big standout and that’s ok… B&B does an amazing job with their designs and they are great to deal with!
Yea I fully agree. I bought this on release, added some weights just to give it a bit more plow through and it feels great. Nothing too special that stands out, just feels like a great paddle that will get the work done and I actually like that. Its not too overly poppy, dinks are consistent, drives are good enough to apply pressure. I plan to continue maintaining this paddle and see where it takes me.
Purple and green will forever be Joker colors for me. I wish they could have done a Joker themed paddle! Impossible, with copyright infringement stuff, but COULD YOU IMAGINE IT!?!?! Doug would kill it.
Thank you! I liked/loved the M2F stock. It's already so stable. I did experiment with weight on top and the sides and that increased stability an insane amount more and also improved plow through big time (if you needed/wanted extra power). But again, I enjoyed it stock. Also, in terms of the Paddletek setup, my preference is now Augie's for pretty much every paddle. (A) remove the stock grip, .5" grams per inch of tape (I use this amzn.to/49Re47H) about 9" up each side. (B) Put the stock grip on or take it off and put an overgrip in its place. It improves control, stability, and plow through.
Absolute top reviewer, love the content! I’m kinda torn between the j2ti and the Invader. My partner is the « setup guy », and i’m the finisher. I need to be able to take advantage of any ball that pops up a bit and finish points. Half of the people tell me to go for the j2ti, and the other half tell me the Invader is what I need. I also drive my thirds most of the time, with a lot of top spin. In your opinion, which paddle would be the right choice for me between these two? Keep up the good work, and happy holidays!
@@VapingJulianFiverr both are good paddles, I’m particular to the J2K vs the J2Ti…but the Invader has more put away power especially with weight if that’s what you’re after. :)
Thank you for the concise and thorough review, Matt! Would you recommend adding weight to the Invader? Where? I recently got the Invader and it really feels like a ‘Goldilocks paddle’! 🥊
@@BH-qd4yb Thanks! TBH I don’t think it needs it for shoring up any instability however if you feel like it needs more plow through then absolutely. 3-6 grams on each side offers a noticeable difference in plow through for me but I preferred it stock.
@@burrbentine Arrrrgggghhh.. 🤣 There's so much data to support that background music on TH-cam videos gets longer watch times and more audience engagement. I'll make a video or two for you without music. :)

Absolutely love my Invader. Bread & Butter is the best.
They do an excellent job in so many categories!

I can see how that transition would be easy!

I'm curious how much weight you put on your paddle and where on the paddle you put it.
It’s a GOOD paddle!!!
Great detailed review… for a paddle I already own 😅
:) haha
B&B Pickleball = Really solid paddles, not cutting edge tech, but executed really well and WORLD CLASS marketing and packaging. I love the brand.
They’re amazing designers! I’d love to learn more about the design choices (the materials) they choose. Someday.
Would you say that 11six24 all court paddle is a better bang for your buck? Excited for their power series!
Not necessarily, very different constructions, and there are new models coming out. Power series, I'd say, is in a league of its own.
Nice production and script. 👍👍
Thank you very much!

If anyone can figure it out those guys can! I can see them camping out on one of the executive producers lawns until they get their attention! 🤣🤣
Are the ratings in your website some where. Such as the 7.6 you gave this one?

Thanks for the review Matt. An unrelated to this paddle question. Any suggestions of how to set up a paddletek esqc 14.3 and a Mach 2 forza?

Yes! .5gram per inch tape from the end cap 7-9” up the neck and paddle on each side. Love that setup!

Great review! But I still don’t know the rules… seriously haha
