  • In Maryland, police are using license readers that instantly check plates and the names of vehicle owners, giving police critical information. But, as Bob Orr reports, the new technology is raising concerns about privacy.

I agree with you completely. Though it's not so much about having nothing to hide, it's more about being presumed guilty, and having to constantly prove your innocence to the state. It's no different than the police wanting to do random spot checks of peoples homes or properties, or stopping you on the street to check your papers. If people would freak out about the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th amendments as much as they do the 2nd, this country would be great.

🤔I’m not a criminal but I’m firm about not giving up ANY of my rights for any reason! From a privacy perspective, I don’t like this at all. And taking people’s license plates off of their car...isn’t that stealing their property? The car owner paid for those license plates. I think people’s rights are being violated. Gonna have to educate myself.

I'm not a criminal either-but I am against the law-which implies that I'm an outlaw-and proud of it.government by definition =mind control.those in positions of authority are,for the most part, the most vile and repulsive examples of humanity of which the crimes they commit are sinister in nature.they do the devil's work.

the thing is those plates belong to the state. hence why we gotta turn them in when we sell the vehicle. they can run it all they want…. they thought it out already

    • @LovingAtlanta

@@johnnysliick3064 - In my state I was told that I own the plate because I buy it when I register the vehicle. The plate is assigned to the vehicle. I don’t have to give it back if I sell the vehicle or change to a different plate option (for example if I choose to have a plate that supports wildlife or a cause like breast cancer - my state offers several different plate types).

or old girlfriend info to include present living address. Some cops want it to help them with their divorce proceedings i.e. past drug convictions of their spouse they didn't know about.Cops ignore PC and that is why they are dirty. We are long past a revolution in this country. First Amendment Auditors(see their videos) are on the forefront of the waking up public by exposing how much the cops hate our Constitution. we've had "ANPR" Automatic number plate recognition here in the United Kingdom for years and it's been a major assist to the police in stopping crimes and also catching people who thought that they had gotten away with it, even if that crime was 30 yrs ago..
