Such an amazing tune! Gosh this should be played on repeat at every sales floor, fast food establishment, and hosptial across our blue-and-green world.
Is not only artistry... is masterfully concept in question vs response about a melodic conversation with musicality in a work fractally coherent and beautiful.
@@ricardomorales3724 I've literally been pondering the beat switch at 4:01 for days now. I have an mp3 playlist of all of the off streaming Aphex projects, and that part always like grabs my attention when this song comes on shuffle, or I feel like listening to Rushup Edge as an album. It just has so much energy in such a compact span of music and is like foundationally built up in the song's preceding passages - 2:38 you can hear the melody start to form and gain coherence and leverage
@@Taquilou I don't get the BoC love - they're comparatively boring compared to most of Aphex's stuff. I get the ambient stuff is comparable - but with The Tuss and Syro he went into orbit.
@@Yer_Da_ I can understand. Try to listen to Spyro. Telephasic workshop live. It took me a while to get into BoC but it’s definitely in my top 3 « electronic music » artists of all time probably with Aphex and Drexciya
I swear this might be his absolute best. Maybe I’m crazy for saying it but this entire record just hits me way harder than anything else. Amazing atmospheres
It's phenomenal - I love this EP and Syro - especially when tripping with no lights on and good headphones - it's like playing in another universe for a short time
Ha, two days ago! See, and here I sit reminiscing the summer of 2012 when me and my two best friends were discovering this stuff, wishing I could hear it with your fresh ears! Be happy you found it at all, and that you can enjoy it fully now! Sometimes it’s really good to inadvertently save some things up for the right occasion! :)
Emnor1993 That makes sense. now it’s one of the songs i wish i could hear for the first time again haha i love your channel though! Gotta find more b side tracks!
Love that you can hear the Syro and BBLR21f style starting to mesh into his mixing on this track
These Tuss tunes are stories... Remarkable stories
Indeed, the Last Rushup 10 could fit an action narrative of the novel Neuromancer by William Gibson.
Sweaty stories
Such an amazing tune! Gosh this should be played on repeat at every sales floor, fast food establishment, and hosptial across our blue-and-green world.
That will motivate them
all patients in the hospital will die (of joy)
it does take a lot of artistry to come up with something like that melodic switchup at 4:02
i think so too!

Bucephalus Bouncing Bass

Boards of Canada and Drexciya are on the same level

De lo mejor que e podido escuchar de Richard James, esto es sencillamente genial !!
Claro que si !
How could I forget what a gem this is!
I heard this the first time trippin on acid on a camping trip by the fire. My god the visuals / sensations this song brought me at that moment lol
You were on that AFX Acid frfr
Yeah man! Tripping whilst listening to this tune is absolutely insane!!!!!!
Love the way the bass sort of frolicks around like it's some sort of bath of funky bass.
Bouncing rubber bass
QUACK!
2:31 oh my god
the tuss always provided quality!
fantastique!!
4:28 Simple Slamming B 2 dropping by to say hi
Yeah I heard that too, the squelchy keys. :)
good call, always have loved that gastric cutoff bass....like an upset stomachache for your ears
FEnix funk 10
similar mindsets
The main bassline reminds me of Grant Kirkhope for some reason. Has a zany energy to it, could see it in a cartoonish PS1 era racing game
I swear this might be his absolute best. Maybe I’m crazy for saying it but this entire record just hits me way harder than anything else. Amazing atmospheres
Definitely my fav track from this era of RDJ
Definitely one of his many best!

2:30
4:20 best part
One of the records I regret selling.
I swear the vocals say - “smelly man, shitty man, in his hand, shitty”.
“That…. (repeat)”.
I'm regretting why I just found this track. Should have found it earlier.

this song is good, it has a lush feeling that braindance fans will love
Anyone know the full lyrics for this? I was able to find lyrics for the vocals at 3:11 (probably way off though) but nothing for the vocals at 0:48.
It’s a little more hearable in this video th-cam.com/video/TjmsO-udwAI/w-d-xo.html
