    Thanks of the video! I was just thinking about this for my 8x10 camera instead having the long sync cable to trip over.

    XLNT video on a problem we all face with camera like the Mamiya RB67 which I am waiting for from Japan. I have used Pocket Wizard units for many years with my Nikon D750 to fire studio flash units, but when the RB arrives, I will have to take Pocket Wizards and camera & lens to local Camera store to get correct cables/cords to get back using my studio flashes with the RB67. Hope all goes smoothly... Thanks again!!

    Nice survey. thanks. I managed to get my Yashica Mat 124 to trigger my Elinchrom's remote to fire my strobes.. Works on my Mamiya RZ67 Pro and Elinchrom's trigger as well. (Lovely voice btw.)

    Very useful video, thanks! I have an RB67. I understand how to sync a flash to the camera by attaching the PW to the cold shoe on the side of the camera, then connecting the PW to the lens sync port. What I am wondering is, do I still need to manually fire the shutter? I guess I am wondering how the shutter fires remotely (or if it can)? Thank you for your help!

    I was thinking, about the rollei isn't it possible to go for a longer pc cord, and then put the trigger in your pocket. An old photographer told me he always he puts his trigger in his vest pocket. But thanks for the tips, I was searching for some solutions but you helped me.

    Great video. I have several Nikon F Series film cameras (FM, FE and FM2). Do I need to plug in a PC sync chord from the pocket wizard to the pc sync port on the camera to trigger my Alien Bees B800? Thank you.

      Well that depens on if the cameras you mensioned have hot shoes or cold shoes if they have hot shoes then just mount the pocketwizard on the hot shoe if not you have to plug the sync cord of the pocketwizard to the sync port of the camera

    Great nice educational video but which model of Pocket Wizard did you use ? The cheaper asian knock offs by far not reliable...

    Great presentation…please help me understand how to “set-up” to remotely fire Hasselbad shutter, to set off the flash (as you explained); so far, I can think of using “mechanical” triggers that are a pain… is there a better solution?

    Very helpful video. May I ask where you purchased the Hasselblad sync cord?

    • @Loop1Photography
      @Loop1Photography 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jacob - you can visit Paramount Cords and order them. You'll want a custom cord with the Long Tip PC cord and the 3.5mm sterio tip. If you're just running the cord to a pocket wizard then the 1' straight cord is the best option if you're using CF lenses. If you have an older C lens then perhaps a y-cord if you have both CF and C lenses. 2 cords with gold plated contacts will run you about $80.

    My Mamiya rz67 proiid is able to fire my flash just using the hotshoe. But since is a leaf shutter is is still not enough?

      You’re good with that camera, that camera is electronic, it triggers the shutter and the flash at the same time. The Hasselblad won’t. It’s mechanical.

    Thnaks Little Bellows. What I was really wanting you to explain was how to set up the correct exposure with a film camera and flash. I have no external light meter. What would you suggest?

    • @SandraCoan
      @SandraCoan 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Antoine, I've move my Channel to go under my name instead of Little Bellow. Here it the link... I have a lot of film tutorials over there! And I would definitely recommend getting an external light meter! th-cam.com/channels/WwfmyG0_JITHvSjFFIYwuA.html?view_as=subscriber
