@JustScribble I do! I got the M nib. Most places were sold out, but my local store had 1 left. It reminds me of the original sterling roses, which are my favorite roses.

The Sailor pen is lovely. I'm hoping to buy a Pelikan or Monte Blanc at the end of this year...here's hoping. The new Pelikan black tortoise shell would be perfect for me but who knows if it will still be available by then. Thank you for sharing.

Hi! That’s a beautiful pen! I want one now too! I’m new to fountain pens and I just bought my first Sailor Shikori from the Fairytale Series in Grateful Crane in Medium Fine. It’s a pretty light blue but with gold glitter flecks on barrel. Shopping for inks now…don’t know where to start and each ink I like is sold out…the Ferris Wheel ink and Wearingul…same thing that happened to me with planners and stickers last year…sorry sold out! But it’s my first year for Hobonichi Weeks and a Cousin so I am starting my fountain pen journey since the sticker planning was good for about a month for me and decided well I am more of a functional planner still. Those are very pretty…I was looking for shades of blues, purples and grays. Thank you for sharing!
That’s a beautiful pen for your first Sailor! Lots of shops sell FWP and Wearinguel inks and they’ll restock but there’s lots of other options too! I can recommend some if you’d like. I do like Wearinguel inks a lot .. I have a video on some. FWP are nice too but definitely not my favorite.
@@JustScribble Hi! Oh yes if you could recommend some ink types for me. That would be very helpful. I want to use them primarily for memory planning and everyday writing. Maybe I can send you happy mail and you can critique my usage of the inks. Yes I need to catch up on your videos since I am a newer subbie. I think I just like FWP inks because I am sucker for the pretty packaging. But I just found out they are not waterproof…so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Is the nib also rose gold?
Yes - its a 21k gold nib with rose gold plating. It's so lovely!
so how does this one compare to the grateful crane one? Anyone know?
The Grateful Crane is light blue and has gold accents. This pen is very light in color - almost ivory/white with lavender undertones and has rose gold on it.

Yes it’s true black. I really like it. I have two other go-to blacks but glad to have this third option too since one of my favs is platinum carbon black and I don’t want to use that in all my pens.
