Love it. I am getting a 6'x12'. My wife and I are going to set it up as an insulated camper. We have a few motorcycles, so I need to figure out a layout so I can still get a bike in the trailer.
I love all of your videos! I just recently graduated high school, and I plan on buying a trailer to convert in the near future. I would love some tips, tricks, and advice.
"From Cargo Trailer To Camper In Three Days!"... Well, dagnabbit, my little 5 X 10 conversion is coming to a close (Halleluja!) so if/when I ever do a video I'm going to title it, "From Tiny Cargo Trailer to Tiny Camper in Three Years!" Hahaha... heh. Hoooboy.
And to comment on another great video presentation, I'd like to say NICE HAULMARK! Very neat to see how that came together, but more than that how they're camping out of it while they plan to improve on it. That mini-split is fantastic. If I do a larger trailer in the future, I'll be adding one for sure. Thanks again for showing us this rig!
He did say he had 1x4 boards on the wall, I would think he then screwed the cabinets from the back into the strips. That is what I did with my shelves, and other items like the sink.
Most manufacturers offer an insulation package, but most folks prefer to do their own insulation. You would insulate a trailer with screwless exterior the same as any cargo trailer.
Yes. It's insured as a cargo trailer "with improvements." It was simpler. Most insurance companies (unfortunately) do not have a category for cargo trailer camper/conversions.
Although he didn't say anything about covering the unit when towing, I'm certain he does. We have a mini split as well. We cover it when towing. It's one of the "common sense" things. In 2 years of travel, the "wind" has not bent the fan, and it still works just like it did when we first installed it.
Nice to see a basic, but comfortable rig!
Bill you are such a competent classy host! May God continue to bless you and Deb.
❤️
GLAD to see a good back to basics CC. PROOF you can start NOW and figure it out along the way! Great video Bill.

I have a 6x12 and I have a single motorcycle in it and a 3/4 rv bed. Got several floorplans but none with 2 motorcycles in it.
@devilboy251 please shared your floor plans
What an awesome job and in just a couple of months. Really motivating. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching

Nice basic setup. Really enjoy your videos.

He has all you need to get started.
Can you please provide info about what he used on the roof. He mentioned it was perhaps Kilz but we aren't finding it. Thanks.

Just goes to prove you don’t need to be fancy to have fun and enjoy your camping.
👌
Nice refrigerator. Can I ask brand/ manufacturer? Where can buy?
It's a Galanz we bought it at Home Depot. It's a 10 cubic foot. Which means it's self defrosting.
How are cabinets and shelves secured when on the road?
He did say he had 1x4 boards on the wall, I would think he then screwed the cabinets from the back into the strips. That is what I did with my shelves, and other items like the sink.
Sorry I failed to ask that question. I assume it's what Dave J said. 😀
Do trailers with screwless siding have insulation or do you install insulation the same as the screwed siding?
Most manufacturers offer an insulation package, but most folks prefer to do their own insulation. You would insulate a trailer with screwless exterior the same as any cargo trailer.
Do you have insurance on your trailer??
Yes. It's insured as a cargo trailer "with improvements." It was simpler. Most insurance companies (unfortunately) do not have a category for cargo trailer camper/conversions.
Good vidios 👍
👍👍👍👍👍🤘
That fridge is really good looking and sounds like he stole it for a hundred dollar bill.
Yes he did.
