Making Deciduous Trees & Apple Trees using Woodland Scenic Tree Armatures

This week I’ve been making deciduous trees and apple trees using some Woodland Scenic tree armatures. I wanted to make them very robust for plenty of game play as some were for my lovely Great Nephews and their train layout.

I've seen people use pinboard pins, (for apples) if thats the correct name for them? They come in mixed colours including red and green.

Hi mate I'm just watching this on tv,great film,I do let my nephew help at times,he is 7 and loves it. Doing trees is good fun as they can look so very different

Thanks mate, yes I enjoyed making apple trees for them. Must admit i always enjoy making trees and I think I’ve tried nearly all the different ways there is now; twisted wire, real twigs, sea foam, clump foliage the lot. I love how the trees came out and now I know my next order when I get a chance to do so. 2 more weeks and the twins will be here so it will be a while for trees. I can believe that people want to watch your videos because of how great you go into instruction on each build. Your videos are amazing because you're still down to earth about your hobby along with you thinking about how each one of us subscribers start off from somewhere. Hi Mim. the trees look great even without foliage. They remind me of WW I battle fields. I hate to bug you but, I'm very anxious to see all of this come together on a board. Loving the work and the ideas. Thanks mate!
