It is also arrogance to believe that aliens would want to communicate with us. Any species that is sufficiently advanced to visit this planet from another is more likely to view humans as food, sport, or vermin (just as humans viewed new creatures they discovered as the explored this planet).

I have come to think it was possible that perhaps a lost human civilization that had great technology and the cataclysm destroyed it. Every culture has a flood story. Perhaps we are the aliens! So many of these wonders of the ancient world are similar or exact in sameness.

I think this is true because of first-hand knowledge. Given the limited range of our vision (390 to 700 nanometers), we are physically unable to see them, but they communicate to us. The result is usually a failure because of language barriers and ignorance of the human body. And, given much of human history, I think they kind of hate us, too. The result is schizophrenia. The twist is that they're among us, but no one doubts their vision. Perhaps one day we'll be able to see them.

Maybe because I'm African and story making and myth making are still very much alive in my culture. The Jewish books used human features to describe YHWH, not because YHWH is human, but as a Metaphor or symbol. Ask any seasoned Jewish scholar if God has human features and they will laugh you to scorn. The OT is an amalgamation of myths, legends, fables, history and pseudohistory. And when you study the Kabalah you will definitely discover why the OT writers decided to use anthropomorphic characters to describe YHWH Adonai. Yah was originally a Pagan deity worshipped as one of the Baalim or Elohim by Canaanite societies even before the tales in the OT - which were mostly borrowed from Canaanite, Syrian, Phoenician, Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures. The fact is there is no God or Gods but I Am which is us. We are Gods and that is what some of the myths were about. The apotheosis of humans. This issue of reducing human beings is defeatist and an insult to what it means to be human. There are elemental forces in this world but they aren't extraterrestrials. And even the word extraterrestrial is reductionist. There is only terrestrial. Even if visitors from outside our solar system visited us (which is highly improbable given space-time continuum), they would still be terrestrials of their own world and their features will not defer from us except in terms of race, linguistics, technology and wardrobe. I'm aware of the magnitude of the Universe. The number you gave, although it's verse, still doesn't come anywhere close to it. Despite this, I doubt highly if some visitors from outside space have made contact with earth. What is becoming evident is there have been several highly advanced human civilizations before ours. If there is some merit to gods being worshipped in ancient times, perhaps it is members of this lost civilizations which were called Gods. Many paranormal faculties and arts originally inhabited by humans have been lost.

@@lordvoldemort6008 First of all the word Enoch (HNVCh) in Hebrew means an initiate. The Book of Enoch is a mystical work full of allegories. For example the Malachin or Watchers are an angelic host responsible for illumination. Angel in this case is a form of energy, not being with wings. The winged human is a symbol of the realized one who has been freed from the earthbound prison of the elements. I don't want to go intro deeper aspects of this. Like the great Rabbi Maimonides once said, He who reads the Torah literally is a blockhead.
I love Sadhguru. His teachings and stories have helped me a lot. As a Buddhist I don't see a way any God has any role to benefit, control or harm my life. I am responsible for the actions and their consequences by my own intent, motivation and through my understanding of interdependence.
I would rather believe that extraterrestrial races came in ancient times and taught humanity how to advance than some God outside myself. I also believe that we did a lot of the work to build humanity as it is now and the level of technology it is now at.

It is a form or nirvana, yet, it's still a sphere of abidance, no cessation of a definitive kind, no forced return to kamaloka or determination by human karma anymore. Not a nirvana of Shakyamuni kind (no return, ever, to any form of world or existence). Cessation that is the ultimate merge into the heart and body of Shiva, the absolute.

We must understand that Sadhguru caters to his audience. If he feels that they would not be able to handle certain types of information, he will not say it. Such things can ruin his credibility and make people value him less. He definitely has talks where he goes deeper into that 5% in which he calls the truth in a topic such as this.

Maybe, but he didn't have to give the impression that aliens don't exist especially in view of what he has said about Shiva. The US Navy publically admitted to UFO's on Dec 14th, 2016 in the New York times. Advanced pre flood human civiliations built the Kailash temple, Egyptian pyramids and much more but that doesn't mean that aliens don't exist. What he implies here just seems contradictory to other videos or even what he alluded to in another part of this video.

On a side note, I had asked the sky one day in Texas to show me what I have seen before out there, hiding in the sky. The next day on a walk, I saw a bright oblong light open and close several times in the sky like a dimmer switch going on and off.
